I use this cord for my Plasma cutter, it works very well for my machine. It is long enough so I can move my machine around and provides good amperage for my machine.

This is great for my Chinese welder, and plasma cutter. works very well.

It is well-built and comes with large, sturdy connectors.That said, it's only 12AWG, but rated to 105C. That's a lot of heat to dissipate - 127Watts is what one would lose at 40Amps, 240V (voltage drop 3.1V according to Gemini's calculation). I would not curl it up or run inside a conduit or such, certainly not at 40Amps continuous. If used correctly, stretched out and in the air, it should be fine. For continuous high-current use, like in EV charging, buy a shorter, sturdier cable so you don't waste so much energy and create heat.I use it to power a coffee machine with it that pulls a mere 4 Amps, and not for long, and it's perfectly adequate for that.
