Beautiful book about Agape Love
The love of God is alive in this short but profound book. I got this book a while ago but did not complete it until today. It's a book to ponder and read again and again. It will confront our selfish nature. If our heart is open we will be transformed meditating in the love of the Lord for us and how much He longs for our faithful love. Our standards of love nowadays are carnal and selfish. Nothing like the Scriptures. This book confront us with that reality. As the first Church, we can experience true agape love. This book truly challenge us to open ourselves into the most beautiful love for our Lord and our fellow human beings. Indeed.

Wonderful Little Book!
I have owned this short book for a number of years, and purchased this copy for a giveaway on my blog. Amy Carmichael is definitely a favorite author. In "If" you'll be challenged, convicted, and encouraged. What does it look like to love with Christ's love? This book really gets to the heart of true Christian love, something that is difficult and can only be possible with Jesus in our hearts! You'll lay this book down asking, "What do I know of Calvary Love?"

Mind blowing
Amy Carmichael's brief observations about Calvary Love wreck me. They are wise, true, and excellent for self-reflection.

Small but extremely Powerful!
Every follower of Jesus should have this book! It contains quotes from several of Amy's books, quotes that simply cannot be scanned over, but if allowed, will deeply penetrate one's heart. Every time I read something from this book, I am convicted, challenged and refreshed all at once.

Many profound truths inside
This is a quick read, but one really needs to slow down to see the great truths contained within.

IF is a book to alert the reader that we have only begun our Christian walk.
The hard challenge ofquestioning ourselves. God is calling us to be so much more than a believer in Jesus Christ; so much the disciple who is being challenged and put to the test. Amy Carmichael was called to a mission field few would ever go to. Children who were given over to a life no child should have to suffer. Her life and work, no matter the cost. She gaveher all so they would know God's love. IF makes us question ourselves.
