Personal Air Conditioner, ICETEK Portable Air Conditioner for Small Room, Pets, Camping, Outdoor

I'm not the type of person to take time writing reviews on things I buy online, but please hear me out. So my Air Conditioner is not running properly. I bought this small inexpensive 'personal air conditioner' because it is miserably hot in my apartment. I was so excited to receive this order hoping that it would make my life a little less miserable. My plan was to put it next to my bed at night to help me stay a little cooler. I wasn't expecting it to cool an entire room or a anything, but it does absolutely NOTHING. I thought at the very least it could blow some air, even if it wasn't cold. Calling it a personal air conditioner is absurd. I wouldn't even call it a fan. It's a legit diffuser. NO air comes out on the highest speed. If I wanted to feel the slightest breeze my face would need to be centimeters in front of it. Also it makes a weird clicking noise randomly. 3-5 clicks every few minutes. The only situation I could think it would make a difference would be in an office setting right next to your desk, but it still wouldnt make much of a difference. A TERRIBLE buy. I read many many reviews before I decided to buy this one. I'm trying to save someone else from making the mistake I did, seriously just by a fan it works better than this thing. Also says it comes with an adapter, but it doesn't it comes with a cord only.

This thing works great. You can't really expect much for it being so small but it actually works pretty great. It's not meant to be used like an actual home A/C unit, but it does cool down a small room pretty nicely. I found for best coldness results, I would fill the reservoir about half full of ice and then fill it the rest of the way with tap water. It cooled the ambient temperature in the room by at least 5 degrees if not more. Didn't really test it that much, but you could definitely feel a difference in the air temperature coming through this little thing. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a SMALL, PORTABLE, A/C UNIT, maybe for a small bedroom or something but nothing more than that.

ok hate to ruin all the good reviews,but a fan will keep it cooler than this thing,I put ice in it and it melts quickly,it will run for like forever on a tank,if you use it inside and put it right next to you its good,it will do almost nothing outside.

After adding ice it did blow cool air. However the pressure of the blowing air was so low, it didnt really so much in my opinion. Maybe over a longer period of time it would have cooled my small bedroom by a few degrees? It felt much better to just have a normal larger fan blow on me so I returned it.

Returned. Waste of money. Does not blow cold air even with ice in it. Light did not work, even though it was supposed to be brand new. Does not blow with any sort of power whatsoever, you have to be directly in front of it to reap any benefits whatsoever and even then, a desk fan for half the price is way better and cooler.

If you sit within a few feet and point the vents toward you, it will keep you from sweating...but doesn't really cool even a small area. It is very quiet and the water well doesn't have to be refilled very often. I put ice cubes in the well to make it blow a little cooler.

Very cheaply made.... I guess I expected a little more from the other reviews I read and description of item. Did not throw off much cool air and made clicking noise from time to time. Maybe fine if u want it blowing directly on u while sitting at a desk.... but not good for much else.

This product is awesome and recommended for indoor use. It's quiet, and works perfectly indoors. The more ice added, the cooler the air flow. I definitely would not recommend this for outdoor use. I purchased this for my employees and the only thing they could say to me is where is the air, there is no power to it. We used a power bank portable charger and also there is a usb cord that comes with it so you can plug it up into a wall socket, tablet/labtop etc., The wall adapter is not included. Overall it's still an Awesome Product!!!
