ZIUMUDY Maternity Retro Off Shoulder Flare Sleeves Mermaid Gown Maxi Photography Dress for Baby Shower

This dress was purchased for a maternity photo shoot per the request of my photographer (who is also a close friend). I was 35 weeks pregnant and my stomach at its largest circumference ~45in. The color I chose was Magenta and the size was “free size” (aka one size fits most). Though the color was wonderfully vibrant and the material comfortable and non-binding, sadly, there was one major drawback to this dress: The material was much thinner than expected causing body imperfections and undergarments to easily show through. To minimize the appearance of body imperfections, I was able to find a pair of stretchy high-waisted girdle shorts that covered from mid thigh to over my belly to just beneath my strapless bra. It smoothed out everything beneath the dress. Had I worn a “calf-length” pair, it would have been even better, as the line on my thigh from the girdle was seen if I stood in certain poses. The strapless underwire bra I wore was not seen unless my arms pulled the material more taut (i.e. hands on my hips). I knew no way to fix this issue beyond my friend using photoshop to erase the lines (which can be time consuming). I am 5’7” tall and would have liked the dress to lie on the floor a bit more. It lay on the floor around my feet ~1”, though the train fell behind me at least ~12”. All in All, the dress was beautiful, but would have been better had it been made with a thicker material to minimize undergarment lines.

This was the most perfect maternity dress!! I used it for my pictures and I felt so pretty wearing it. It really gave my body a good shape by accenting my curves and baby bump. The only con was that it was somewhat sheer, but I wore something underneath and it seemed to fix the problem. I would definitely recommend this dress!! I was extremely picky before this dress and returned so many prior to this purchase.

I tried this on. Thought I was seeing my nude bra through it. So I tried on one also nude but with a pattern on it. Could definitely see it. It is very sheer. Might work for a photoshoot still. The fit was great. Very cute. I'm 5'7", 23 weeks pregnant at about 139.6 lbs. If the material was thicker it would honestly have a better fit too though as you wouldn't see every nook, cranny, dimple, or even stretch marks. The sleeves were a smidgen short. This dress was still super long on me. So it is tall girl friendly. It had multiple spots where the thread was frayed out though. So now I'm back to the drawing board for a dress for my baby shower which is in 4 days!!!!!So def not a babyshower dress. Maternity shoot possibly.

This dress was so perfect for my maternity photoshoot. It’s definitely too long to wear it casually, the end drags on the ground, but for the photos it was great and made me feel beautiful. I included a few of the photos for reference. Now that I’m not pregnant anymore I have no reason to wear it ever again, but the low price made it WORTH IT to just wear it once ! It’d definitely fit a range of sizes, because it is very stretchy but not tight at all. I am 5’5” and I’m a skinny person, but my belly was very large and pregnant at the time I wore it. It would definitely fit a variety of sizes and shapes of people. It’s kinda thin but the material feels nice, soft, and durable enough.

I’m 4’11 and ordered a small! I was super nervous before receiving it with doubt that it wouldn't fit, but when it arrived and I tried it on and I was super pleased with my decision! It fits so well, and it is super comfortable!! I LOVE IT!! I like how even though I am short it still flatters me and my figure.

For reference, I am 5’9” and 210 pounds, and the large fit me like a glove with plenty of stretch to keep it comfy. This photo is edited, and I couldn’t find any photos that captured the true color unfortunately. This review is more to show off the style and fit :) Would 100% buy this again!!

I truly felt so pretty in this dress for my maternity shoot! I’m 5’8, 8 months pregnant, weighing in around 200lbs now and I got a size large. So pretty and long and I have no complaints! I hope I get a chance to wear it again!

A tad seethrough, but made it work with a bra that was the same color. A little longer than I was expecting, but I actually loved the extra drama. Couldve sized down maybe, but arms might not fit then.

Ultra confortable, j’adore la couleur mais personnellement je la trouvais trop extravagante avec la traîne alors je l’ai retourné gratuitement. Je suis 5p4 et elle est très longue, 160Lbs 35 semaines de grossesse et 34DD et le small me fait parfaitement. Très extensible !!! J’en préférais une autre mais je n’ai rien à dire de négatif :)

Love it! Purchased the small and very happy with how it fit. Material is nice and stretchy, very comfortable. It is slightly see thru so don't wear something underneath that's going to show through, I wore nude colour underneath and photos turned out amazing. Super happy with this purchase.

I received this dress with stains on it and with it having been already worn by someone as it had an terrible smell . I was very disappointed and sad that I wasn’t able to use the dress and had to purchase an alternative .

It is a bit thin but does the job. I like that it stretches a lot so it is mostly one size fits all really. unless I get a very skinny girl then, It won't work I think.

I honestly ended up liking this way more then expected! Wasn’t sure if the colour at first as it appeared more pink but it photographed really well! I didn’t size up or down, went for my normal size. Material very stretchy, thin though so definitely wear a slip underneath!
