My pit bulls LOVE this kick ball...and the football too
4 out of 5 of my pit bulls love this ball. I wrote about how they love the football style version of this ball earlier. This brand makes awesome and durable toys for dogs! My fifth pit bull won't chase anything that isn't breathing on it's own. He looks at us as nuts kicking this ball around the yard. I look like I have a soccer team of pit bulls playing in the yard as we kick this ball all over the place. The ball is also easy for the dogs to grip with their teeth, and they have a lot of fun playing chase once one grabs the ball. Warning! This is NOT an indestructible toy despite its durability. If you leave your dog alone with it, expect it to be partially destroyed one tiny piece at a time. I recommend supervising your dog during play to extend the life of this fantastic toy. We are on our second replacement...four pit bulls playing tug of war truly puts a hurting on any toy...but this has lasted the longest.Update 20170708: Yes, still 5 stars. I truly need to set this product up for monthly delivery because 3 of my pit bulls go through this or the football at a rate of about one a week. When I say 'ball, ball,' they get all excited and run for the door or to where we have the ball stowed. I have to stow it 7 ft off the floor level to keep it out of reach from complete annihilation. The 4th pit bull, Momma Bella, has since backed off playing as her 3 pups are now full grown and are very competitive for the ball. She prefers playing one on one with us so long as she isn't being body slammed by the younger dogs. I think Rugby is probably the closest description of what my younger dogs are doing when playing for this amazing toy. I have tried introducing other toys for play, but seriously, this is what they dream about as they sleep at night. The larger kickball is a challenge for my smallest dog, our runt in the litter, so we make some exceptions to feign throw the ball in one direction and toss it behind us to allow her more time to grip it with her mouth before being chased by her brothers for it. We do try to give each dog time with the ball each play period about two or three different times throughout the day. To keep the balls lasting at least a week, we cannot allow any one dog to keep the ball for any length of period or they start chewing on it to soften it and create tears in it for easier gripping during catch. The smaller football is a lot easier on our runt to get and run, but her larger brothers struggle with the unpredictable bounce when the ball is still mostly firm and intact. Alternating between the kick ball and the foot ball has been really great for exercise and mental stimulation of our dogs. I cannot praise this product enough. BTW the color choice is spot on...why? When they do manage to separate the inner foam ball from the outer orange and blue shell, they ignore the foam ball and play with the shredded outer covering. I know dogs can see limited colors and blue being one of them. I am not sure if orange is as well, but they absolutely love this and easily find the new ones in our workshop storage area against all the other stuff we have in storage if we aren't careful.

Great Ball
My dogs absolutely love this ball. It was tough to a certain extent, but heavy chewers can tear it up. Recommended.

Glow and Orange
My dog has had the glow version and the regular orange version of this ball, both in the same size, the glow ball first, then the orange. believe I ordered Large. They were about the size of a soccer ball. She really enjoyed (slaughtering) them, played roughly with them, and with her being a power chewer/pittie, I was under no delusion that either ball was going survive for very long, because everyone knows how dangerous pit bulls can be- to a toy. However, I have bought other toys from this brand and they have held up pretty well to her undying wrath. Serious on this- Color me surprised when the glow ball was, well, a ball of threads in a day. When I bought this ball, I had already picked up the orange, because there was a special running on Chuck-It. I decided to give her the fully sun charged glow ball first (it did glow). Expectations were low going into the orange ball. She had a hunger for stuffing in her eyes as I removed it from the box. She held the ball in a stare so intense I thought she would burst into a powder of fur, much the way cartoon birds vaporize into feathers upon hearing the bleating of a nearby "songstress". Much to her agony, as with the glow ball, she had to work for that **** ball. It took her about 2 weeks to destroy the orange ball.TLDR: Glow Ball dead in 1 day Orange Ball dead in 2 weeksI knew that she would tear the orange ball up pretty quickly because of what happened with the glow ball. However, the orange ball felt a little more durable, so I wanted to see how much longer it would last under the same circumstances, hence, I didn't take it away or control her time with it. I will next time I get her one. She seems to really like these because not only can she bump it with her chest, but the ridges make it a lot easier for her to pick it up in her teeth or her paws (think dog lying upside down). I like it because when it inside it is a lot less destructive when she decides to bounce it and throw it around, and it's less likely to harm her teeth than a hard ball.

Great fetch tool (not for chewing)
Summary: great replacement if you have a dog that loves soccer balls, but I would never allow a dog with any inclination to chew the ball to have it unsupervised if you want it to last more than a few minutes - hours. My dog (55lb american bulldog/border collie mix) is usually not a huge fan of fetch/balls, but this is hands down her favorite toy of all time. She loves this toy so much she will stop playing with other dogs just to carry it around and play fetch with me. The large ball is easy for her to carry and is lightweight, while I love the bright color which makes it easy to spot at the beach, park, and on hikes. Being able to kick a sandy/muddy/drooly ball without touching it barehanded is underrated and under appreciated. This is a great replacement if you have a dog that loves soccer balls. However, I NEVER let her stop moving and chew on this toy as it would be destroyed in minutes. My dog chews, but would not be classified as a power chewer - she has stuffed animals she uses daily but does not shred. Even though she is not allowed to chew on this ball, due to the rough treatment and use (when she is supervised and is allowed to play with it, the ball is either in her mouth while she proudly runs with it or is being actively kicked/chased on all manner of surfaces) the stitching is slowly breaking apart at the seams. We have only had it for a couple months, but I have already purchased a back up for when the seams fully split.

My dog is on # 13 of these.
I have a super chewer and boy howdy does he love this ball. It's his favorite toy, and as much as I try to not let him chew on it, they last for about a week. It's also great for throwing for keep away, and for pulling once he does "catch" it. Shipping is also super fast so i get them in quickly once the previous one has gone in the bin.

This will use up your very active dogs energy
Last April we adopted a Boarder collie/Aussie Shepherd pup, Louie. He is a cute, insanely smart and busy little guy. During the summer it was pretty easy to tire him out with training, running and playing outside. When winter hit however, it wasn't so easy. Being indoors a lot more he started to entertain himself by chasing our cats and chewing furniture, soI went on Amazon, found this ball and gave it to Louie for Christmas. My cats have never been more grateful to me, finally they are at peace and Louie is having tons of fun. Honestly this ball tires him out in about 20 to 30 minutes.I read the other reviews about the ball being easily punctured so we don't let him run around with it in his mouth and chew on it. We do however play indoor soccer and pig in the middle with him, and it's a blast!! Louie will actually drop the ball and lie down beside it letting us know he's done. We can then put Louie in his Kennel afterwards and he is out for 3ish hours giving me time to get my list of things to do done. That's a win all around!!!We definitely recommend this ball, we've had it for 2 months, it's had a lot of use and it's in great shape. Best thing we ever bought for him. We bought 3 other balls and this one is by far his favoriteGet it for your pup and have tons of fun!!!

Great ball for dogs
This ball is a fun addition to our dog's toys. The great part is that the grooves make it easy for the dogs to pick up while still being a larger ball that you can kick. Very sturdy and flexible so they don't hurt their gums.
