These do the job well and does not kill your water pressure. An RV company recommended them to me.

I've had the holder for this filter element for a few years and needed a replacement filter element after using up the first 3. This one is a different color and style than my original 3 and I was concerned. An email to Camco confirmed they had changed the design. So far it seems to work as well at the originals.

Good quality water comes out with near zero chlorine taste, but closed unit design greatly reduces water volume.

Every time I have a visitor and ask what drink I could serve, and the answer is water, I serve them water from my drinking faucet on the counter. The result is always an WOW - this water in soft and smooth and tasts wonderful. I change the above named filter when I feel that the taste is not more the same as when I changed it last. With my living alone, I have to change it after around 2 years or a little more. I am hooked on this drinking - - and cooking - - water.

Living in a small community with public water has its challenges. While the source water is an excellent aquifer, the pumps, tanks, water lines and all are a bit aged and sometimes the water is not so good. I use two of these filters. One on the main feeder and another for the refrigerator ice and water. Excellent results even when the outside hose water smells and isn't exactly clear.

Perfect replacement. Came in original box and filter was plastic sealed. This filter removes more than the other filters, but does not remove cysts such as cryptosporidium and giardia lamblia. Cryptosporidium and giardia lamblia come from human and animal fecal waste, so unless you're getting your water from a farm pond, you should be OK.
