My Little Pony: I Love to Draw!: How to create, collect, and share your favorite little pony! (1) (Learn Drawing)

My 10 year old loved this book. Her thoughts: I have only drawn each pony once, but I might come back to them again. The instructions were very clear, a lot clearer than the How To Draw Equestria Girls book in this series. I didn't care much for the activities in the book, but the stencils and stickers were a good bonus. Two drawbacks: the book only shows how to draw each pony in their own certain pose. So definitely Not a good idea if you want to draw the ponies in a different pose, like in comic books. And, it could really use tutorials for more ponies like the Cutie Mark Crusaders and fan favorites (e.g. Derpy Hooves, Dr.Hooves, Lyra Heartstrings, Trixie...) so it's clear that this book is more for littler girls (activities, and all), who might not know or understand who other ponies are, like Derpy or Lyra. It would be cool if they made a brony/pegasister version of this. But all in all, it is a great, helpful book if you're learning how to draw ponies :-)

Daughter enjoyed trying to draw her favorite characters. I liked it, and thought that the illustrations really were clear enough that a novice could draw these.There might be some areas which are harder to draw at first, but it's a good learning experience. As in, if you draw this over and over, it will be a lot easier to make it look better every time. I get annoyed with kids who think that they're going to draw it accurately the first time and then "give up". Thankfully, my daughter understands that practice improves one's skill and that if she draws a lot, she'll be good with a pencil.Anyhow, if you know someone that likes to draw and enjoys MLP, this is a great gift.There are other activities (stencils, stickers, spot-the-difference) to do.In fact, I liked this so much, I bought this book as part of a rainy-day party favor packet for my daughter's 8 friends who came to her MLP-themed birthday party, along with drawing paper and colored pencils.

This is understandably aimed at younger kids, so as an adult looking to learn how to draw ponies, I am only so enthused. But it does teach the basics, and while I would have loved more in depth instructions on shading and color selection, it's good enough. My three year old daughter LOVES IT, and has pretty much stolen it from me, especially the stickers.

This is a nice little book full of interesting, varied activities. If I were a child, I would probably go bonkers over this.Learning to draw is frustrating and difficult, but for those children that persist, the rewards are tremendous. The sense of accomplishment, of creation, is precious. This book encourages the reader to use her own imagination and create her own scenes, and this active engagement is a very good thing, in a society that too often encourages passive consumption. (I say "her," but the boy I was would have loved this book.)I like this book because it supports one of the basic themes of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: you, yes, YOU, can have a special talent. It may be drawing, or caring for plants and animals, or running like the wind. But whatever your "cutie mark" is, Celestia's Sun and Luna's Moon will shine down upon you, because you are precious in their eyes.Which is not bad, for a child's drawing workbook.

This is a great little art book for those who want to learn the basics for My Little Pony drawing (and Spike). There are pop outs in the back for tracing, and there are two pages of cute stickers. My 4 year old loves to draw, but this book is still a little advanced. It helps me though, since she is always asking me to draw the ponies for her to color. I think in another year she will be able to follow the instructions, but practice makes perfect.

My daughter didn't put it down for 4 hours. She really wanted to be able to draw all the ponies and do all the puzzles, and do the stickers, and....do everything - all at once. She was so engrossed in the book that I didn't want to take it away from her when lunchtime came around, so lunch waited, and waited, .... I'm looking for more books like this where a six-year-old can feel so involved. This was a great buy for us.

Wanted to this book to see if I would even attempt to draw some of my favorite ponies... after flipping through the book, I may be able to draw some of the headshot drawings, but I can't see myself doing well with the full pony examples. I wish the book was more detailed with the steps listed.I also wish it had more drawings of just the pony heads.If you are already artistically inclined, you probably won't need this book, and if you need tons of help, this book wont give it to you.

My nine-year-old daughter LOVES My Little Pony (MLP)! She is very artistic, so I bought this for her. She loves it! Her drawings have become so extravagant over the time she has had this book. All the young ladies in her class have been asking her how to draw them now, so she is sharing her book.

Lovely little book full of great pictures to colour and copy. My granddaughter really loves it.

Molto ma molto Carino e coloratissimo, arrivato nei tempi previsti con una settimana circa di anticipo. La sua struttura è assai semplice, non entra tanto nelle specifiche di come disegnare con precisione e chiarezza ogni determinato modello, ma in compenso ha una composizione artistica degna del cartone, anche se con solo qualche nozione molto basilare di come iniziare e creare le fondamenta di ogni personaggio e quindi apprendere da zero l'arte del fumetto. Lo consiglio ai veri fan della serie animata.
