Installed easily and worked as expected.

Replaces relief valve on hot water heater and this is the second one since original installation. No problem with quality (once sold this brand) so partial to it, but condition of water shortens life of valve, so just a necessary maintenance procedure.

The T&P Valve on our hot water heater was leaking. It was part number SL100XL-3M7. This one has a shorter neck than ours. I bought it for the emergency and it fit OK but rubbed up against the plastic trim on the hot water heater but still works perfectly. This product works perfectly as intended so I'm giving it 5 stars. I need to find an purchase the correct T&P Valve as this one is too short for our tank.

My valve had been leaking since I drained my hot water tank and I manually opened my old valve to help drain the tank. I finally got around to replacing the old leaking valve with this part and no more leaks. It is working great. Was an exact match to one that was in my hot water tank.
