quality of plastic is bad, sides are "furry" so be prepared to cut and polish it your self. hinges holes a bit misaligned so all stack not fitting well.

The paint seems prone to scratches and the speaker holes on the front aren't straight, but overall everything fits together well and it's a cheap way of refreshing your old GBA.

I bought this shell, (along with a new IPS screen elsewhere) to refurbish an old GBA SP. Whilst I didn't expect this shell to be of the same quality as an original, I was dissapointed to see that it arrived with scratches already in the lid and I, therefore, decided to not use it. The screwdrivers provided are of reasonable quality and were useful in disassembling the GBA SP to accept the new screen. Installing a new IPS screen required some internal trimming of the shell, I used this one to practice on first. So my purchase wasn't entirely wasted, but I cannot recommend this shell as it would appear to be prone to scratching easily.

Super happy. My old SP looks brand new again. So easy to swap shells at a veery good price!!
