Holster has minor discrepancies from the original M3 (Enger-Kress) holster:1. belt loop is MUCH longer than the original2. Shoulder strap is much longer and is a single width; the original M3 (Enger-Kress) widens slightly to 1 3/16" where it goes over the shoulder, and continues with the wider width all the way to where it is sewed to the holster body next to the heel of the pistol handle.3. The "US" emblem is slightly larger than the original.4. the cut-out for the trigger guard is slightly lower than on the original, probably because of the "US" emblem being larger.The holster appears to be well made from good quality materials The minor discrepancies will not affect functionality.

Nice leather, not holding up to daily wear. Wore several time when snap broke off.

I really dig this holster. It's great for just tossing on in a pinch. I bought mine for a Beretta 92fs and it fit like a glove. Retention is strong enough to almost negate the need for the strap. I could also fit my Heritage Rough Rider in there with no issues. If you're big and round like me, however, the belt loop might dig into your side (more of a personal issue than a product error). To alleviate that, simply let it hang on your side, and when drawing your sidearm, hook your left hand thumb into the belt loop to hold it in place.

Quality leather and stitching . I have had several shoulder holsters ; this one is a great value and one that I recommend for fit and function .

I purchased this for a 5 1/2" barrel cap-and-ball revolver. I used the same holster when I was in the Army, so I figured it would work. The revolver fit just fine; all I needed to do was stretch the strap that secures the piece, which was easy. I soaked the strap in alcohol and secured it over the piece until it set up. It works great and I can carry my piece when riding on horseback, on a tractor, anywhere where a side holster or shoulder holster would be inconvenient. It was well worth the money.

I got this to replace my original one which finally started falling apart. It is nearly identical to my original except that on the original the strap is wider at the shoulder which is nice, but no big deal. The leather seems a bit stiff but 45 Colt fits perfectly. I think the leather will loosen up over time. Can't wait for it to get that well used patina. Not the finest leather I've ever seen but for the price I consider this an excellent product.

I like the holster, it suits my need well. The lower belt strap snap broke after about a week of light use. I don't denounce the product for this, it may have been a defective snap. I fixed it myself.
