5004 18mm Pistol Grip Ratchet-Lock Snap Off Utility Knife with Rubber Grip Insert (L-2)

This is a backup to the one I have. Used for cutting leather, removing grout and other cutting jobs. Very pleased with product.

Great Cutter. Favorite thing about it is that it’s really easy to change the blades.

I positively love these snap-off blade cutters with the rubber handle. Makes cutting up cardboard and everything else SO much easier!

I have been using these for over 20 years. I am a wallpaper installer and go through these and the blades a lot. The knife holds up well under steady use (Everyday) I go through about 2 knives a year and 300 hundred snap off blades a year. The rubber handle is the best. My hands are wet most of the day from washing the wallpaper with clean water after I install each piece. The rubber handle helps me keep control of the knife better when my hands are wet.

The dial lock is essential to me, and getting harder and harder to find. My hands are week from arthritis, and I've cut myself a number of times when slide locks slip. Very secure rubber grip, but I haven't figured out the reason for the pointed back end. It doesn't hurt anything,though.

Very rugged, comfortable to hold for long periods of time and the blade doesn’t slip.
