No need to cut the grass just a sweep with a hard brush
We have a tiny wee garden not fit now to be digging so we put grass down middle with colored stones round edges and my pots down middle of grass. Looks lovely when done.

Great for the job I needed it to do. Very little waste, easily trimmed. Would buy again

Seems OK
Seems pretty decent. Easy to lay and doesn't seem affected by strong winds. Had a couple of heavy rain showers and it dries quickly. Looks OK. Laid on a concrete drive and looks better than concrete! Update. Had this now for nearly two years and it's performing well. No obvious signs of wear. Keep it in the garage over winter and put it down about end of march.
