LISTEN..THESE ARE VERY SHARP LOOKING AND ASY IS VERY EASY..WE BOUGHT 2 SETS OF 2 OF THIS PRODUCT...(SO FOUR TOTAL) FOR OUR SAMSUNG HT-D5100 3D BLURAY (WHICH BY THE WAY IS AN AMAZING SYSTEM FOR ONLY ABOUT $230)..GOT IT FROM WALMARTON MY SAMSUNG SURROUND SOUND SYSTEM, WE BOUGHT THE WIRELESS TRANSMITTER FROM AMAZON (WHICH WAS ABOUT $100) INCLUDING SHIPPING!HOOK UP TOOK ABOUT 5-10 MINUTES FOR EACH SPEAKER STAND ASY.EACH OF OUR SAMSUNG SPEAKERS WEIGHT ABOUT 3-4LBS AND WE HAVE HAD NO PROBLEM AT ALL WITH THE STAND TIPPING OVER.WE CURRENTLY HAVE THE SPEAKER STANDS ON CARPET IN OUR LIVING ROOM..ON THE BOTTOM OF EACH STAND, THERE IS A WEIGHT THAT GOES UNDERNEATH THE FOOT OF THE STAND...IT HAS TO WEIGHT ANY WHERE FROM 5-8LBS... THE WEIGHT IS IN A OVAL SHAPE WITH A FLAT BOTTOM.. SO THE WEIGHT IS SPREAD OUT EVENLY FOR THE STAND.NOTE: IT WAS KIND OF HARD VIEWING THE CALLOUTS ON THE HARDWARE IN THE MANUAL...BUT NOT THAT BAD AT ALL.THE MANUAL GIVES YOU THREE DIFFERENT WAYS TO MOUNT YOUR SPEAKERS, INCLUDING FOR THE BOSE SPEAKER MOUNTS.THE STAND IS ALSO ADJUSTABLE, AND WE CURRENTLY HAVE THEM AT ABOUT 4' HIGH...OUR SURROUND SOUND IS ALWAYS ON BLAST AND THE STAND HASN'T FALLEN OR SLIPPED DOWN NOT EVEN A 1/32 OF AN INCH..OUR SPEAKERS HAVE A PLASTIC CASTING HOOK UP AT THE END OF OUR WIRES SO WE WERE NOT ABLE TO PUT THE WIRES THROUGH THE STAND BUT I JUST WENT TO WALMART AND BOUT SOME BLACK ZIP TIES AND HAVE THEM HIDDEN BACK ALONG THE POLE OF THE STAND...JUST CUT OFF THE ENDS OF THE ZIP TIES AND WAS IN BUSINESS..AMAZINGOTHER THAN THAT IT IS GREAT...

Simple and reasonable
This is a very reasonably priced item that is easily assembled and gets the job done. I mounted Sony surround sound speakers with no problem. Be sure to check that all of the screws, etc you need are included. The package that mine came in was not secured, and I found one screw in the box, and perhaps two others missing. Fortunately, I did not need the missing screws for my mounting.

With a little effort, you can make them work
The top complaints about these stands are that they do not support any weight, and the speaker cable does not fit. I was able to work through these two issues.Components:I used 14 guague speaker cable with two 6.1 pound bookshelf speakers.Wiring the cable:14 gauge wire does fit in these stands. If your cable connectors are on the back of your speakers, as most are, then you may have trouble slipping the plastic cover back on. I left mine off, because it won't fit. It's not a big deal; you can see about 3 inches of speaker cable. If it's not obvious, the easiest way to get the wire through is to take everything apart, push the wire through the assembly, and then reconnect the components. You won't get the cable through any other way, and I suspect this is the issue raised by another reviewer.Supporting the weight:This is where most people are finding problems. Ensure you do the following:1) You can see the telescoping upper section of the post has a bend in it. Use it. Ensure that the bend is toward the back, so that the speaker itself is sitting over the center of gravity.2) The stand has a circular weight underneath the feet. If your speaker stand will be on carpet, ensure this weight as tight as possible to the underside of the stand. This will prevent the stand from floating on the center and toppling the stand.3) Intuitively, due to aesthetic reasons, most people will want to angle the feet at 120 degrees out from forward of center, and one directly to the back of center. This is backward. As the unit wants to lean forward a bit, position one of the feet directly forward of center. This makes the biggest difference in stability.4) Since the balance problems are mostly due to a carpeted surface, and you're putting the speakers on a stand, it's highly likely that you are positioning these on the rear wall of your room. It's also likely that you have a baseboard molding on that wall. If you reverse the positioning recommended in tip #3, you may be able to wedge the rear foot between the carpet and the baseboard. If you can do this, these stands are extremely solid. After my efforts, I am 5-star pleased with the product, however, it should work as engineered, not as kluged. For that, I only award this product 3 stars.

Nice stands at great price!!!!
Reluctanly ordered these speaker stands since they were very reasonably priced and only had a few product reviews...they are great! They offer mulitiple options for attaching surround sound speakers and include all hardware needed. They even have covers for the mounting hardware that makes the stands look more upscale. The curved stands are great if you need to place the stands next to a wall but still need room to turn them to fit the room. They seem stable (4 individual feet vs. 3 on many of the stands I looked at). They are not super heavy, so you might knock one over if they are out in the open, but that was not a concern for me. No tacky logos printed on stands anywhere, either. Very classy and for the price, I don't think there is a better deal out there!
