Great replacements for the original fein multimaster bolts

Fine, but adapter turned out to be sub-par. No substitute for a new tool!
I bought these because the Fein website said I needed them with Fein 3-01-09-189-01-0 Star Mount Adaptor for Round Mount MultiMaster Arbor, which I was buying to improve the performance of my older-model Fein Multimaster with the new set of blades I bought on Amazon: Fein 63502160140 Best of E-Cut. I think they are probably the same as some of the Fein screws and washers I already had, but I didn't want to hold up a project by not having a couple of screws! These are, of course, fine. My 4-star review is really related to the star mount adapter combined with these screws not being all that effective an adapter for my old Fein tool. I had a project that involved a lot of cutting with the plunge blades (removing rot from part of a wooden door). It kinda works, but consistently loosens and allow the blades to shift while you're cutting. So, in the end, I bit the bullet and decided to buy a new Fein Multi-Master -- no adapter needed. Fein FMM 350Q START IN BAG 2014 350Q Multimaster So I guess I might say trying the adapter route was a waste of money, but you live and learn. I'm going to use the old Fein tool as a dedicated detail sander and the new tool for cutting functions. Happy to have them both!

Why so short?
Why so short? Much shorter than what came with my multimaster and short enough that with some accessories these are too short
