I am always on the search for a great writing pen, and now I found it. It writes smooth and I am able to grip the larger barrel better. Awesome!!! I wish they would produce them in the blue black color

I purchased a set of these pens at Staples. Loved them, so came to Amazon to buy in bulk. Bought the exact same pens….. they DO NOT write the same! These feel really cheap compared to the supposedly same pins in the store. I cannot prove it, but I think Amazon is buying seconds or lesser quality than you get in the stores. Because these are absolutely not the same thing you buy in the store. !!

2 of them pens in the package were damaged. Otherwise it was a great buy.

I do a lot of journaling/ writing in a diary, so my whole life I've always looked for the best pens. These 1.0 gel pens are the BEST I've ever come across! I wish they made the 1.0 size in every color, I'd buy them all! But the problem is with either this seller, or this type of carton (4 to a carton. So if you buy 12, they send you 3 packages with 4 in each blister pack), but this time 4 of the 12 have a problem with the tip. Same thing happened last year when I bought these pens from same seller. Only this time I knew better, so I opened them all, pinched off the little ball on the tip that keeps the ink in during air travel, and wrote with each one to count how many bad ones I have. (I scribbled all over the page on the ones that didn't work properly, just to make sure I had gotten off all of the little ball wax or whatever that was on the tip.) So Amazon wanted me to do a full exchange, where I send back the 12 I have and they resend to me. Problem is, I would have the same problem with the next 12! But the pens that do work, work splendidly, so they are worth paying more for, if you include the ones that don't work. Keep in mind that if you store them upright, like in a pencil cup, you have to click the pen so the tip goes down inside the pen. Before I learned this, I had about 3 accidents with gel pens dripping into the cup and all over the ends of the other pencils and pens. (Thankfully, it cleans up easily as long as it's not on carpet or clothes.) Now that never happens to me. But just to be safe, when I travel, I keep them in a baggie in my backpack. If you like a nice, bold stroke, this pen's for you!
