SYNOPSIS Disney’s “The Lion King, directed by Jon Favreau, journeys to the African savanna where a future king is born. With 3D it was much more immersive especially as we watched it via our projector on an desertcart 100” screen. It’s sad and scary in parts, so I wouldn’t recommend this movie for very young children but older junior school upwards age group, we as grandparents enjoyed watching it without the grandchildren, but look forward to showing it to our grandchildren when they’re a little older. The blu-ray dvd has 2 discs in the box, one for 2D one for 3D making it excellent value too. Review: Great remake with lifelike CGI - Even though the story is well known, there are some new twists that, I think, add to the story. But like so many new CGI movies -- Jungle Book, new Planet of the Apes movies, etc. -- the rendering is very realistic. We watched the 3D version and enjoyed the added depth. It was worth watching even though the story is basically the same as the previous release.

Lovely Movie Even Better In 3D
Super movie we’d not seen before, the animation is excellent, as is the music. With 3D it was much more immersive especially as we watched it via our projector on an Amazon 100” screen. Worth a watch
A great remake of the original. This 3D version is brilliant and a big thank you to our fantastic Disney for keeping the 3D thing alive! It DOES make a big difference when watching a movie. Long may it continue. A great film and definitely worth a watch if you know the story and saw the original.

SIMPLY FANTASTIC
Bought this as a Christmas Present as my Husband collects films (3,000+ and counting) and we are both into 3D films. I highly recommend this film (and any other 3D film) as the effect is simply OUTSTANDING - all you need is a 3D Blu-Ray player, the glasses & a TV with £D capabilities - you will not be disappointed - great family entertainment.

Great story and almost gives a different production of this film when viewed in 3D. Don't forget you need a 3D capable TVand 3D capable Blueray CDplayer for these 3D films to work.

outstanding live action 3d version
This is a outstanding live 3d version of this classic story. It is very well done and the 3d blu ray is very good too.
