I put those foot shaped pads in the front of the shoe,and it made the comfort better. The heel is not really high but it looks higher than it is because of the wedge. but that is the way wedges look. So they are not particularly uncomfortable or comfortable. But the little foot shaped pad helps. They are very cute, this is the 2nd pair I purchased. I do not usually purchase cheap shoes,and did not expect the 1st pair to last through two seasons, but it has. I have lots of boots so I do not wear them "maybe' once a wk. So not a lot of wear.This rust color will be worn less. I purchased them just for one outfit. If they had them in Tan or camel I would order another pair.I actually get compliments almost every time I wear them. More used to that for a better boot. But they are awful cute.The sole started to come off the first pair last yr. (that is why I did not think they would last), I took some strong glue and it is fine now. It was on the heel of the boot. Odd place since your weight is almost always on the heel.

These boots are even cuter in person! I'm 5 feet tall, so I love the hidden wedge. The quality isn't super, but for $35 bucks it's fair. It's not something that's obvious though. Someone would actually have to handle the shoe to know that. I think they are supposed to be a faux suede, but seem more like a velvet. But again, not obvious. I wear a 7 or a 7.5, but the 7 fits great with even a bit of room.

I LOVE THESE SHOES! I wish I could give them 5 starts but they fall apart pretty easily. After 6 months I had to throw them away. They are super comfortable and I got so many compliments - I wish they held up longer!
