Good for Gummies
I made alcoholic gummies for Halloween (for an adult, obviously) and used this plastic sheeting to place the gummies on before sliding them into self-sealing clear plastic bags for food. This made getting the gummies, both large and small, into and out of the bags much easier than the previous time I made them where I just stuck small gummies to the backs of the bags on the insides. This plastic was the same width as the bags, so I only had to cut the roll to fit the height of each bag, which I did on my rotary paper cutter. The only issue is the plastic stays curled up until you lay your food object, such as gummies, on it. I tried to flatten them by reverse bending and placing heavy objects on them overnight, but that had no effect on the plastic's curl.

Perfect for Milk Bar Cake Assembly!
Having run out of acetate sheets to make my Momofuku Milk Bar cake, I ordered from Amazon. However, while in a rush I kind of ordered the wrong width. When the acetate arrived, it was in a roll and not strips. Another faux pas on my part.But... things worked out for the best! With the roll, I was able to cut the exact length I needed. In addition the height worked out perfectly! My error turned out to be a good thing. I’ll be purchasing more of these rolls in the future!

Very good but I’d recommend the 4 inch.
It’s good, but get the 4 inch one. Better served for filled cakes. My bad.

Perfect for layering mousse
My triple layer mousse cake cake together so quickly using this! The first time I made it I tried to fold parchment paper...it was a hassle. I immediately ordered this acetate, and it made layering a breeze! It held strong when I scooped and leveled the mousse inside, and came off smoothly. I left about 3/4” overlap when making the ring and taped it together with a bit of double-sided tape. I’m never making my mousse cake without acetate ever again!

An easy way to make an impressive cake
I use this to line a 6" springform pan and make totally gorgeous cakes! It's so easy, get a cake cutter to cut perfect rounds, a piping bag to pipe in your mousse, and set the whole thing for an hour or more in the freezer before serving. So easy and impressive!

For more than cake decorating
Purchased for purpose other than baking.....reorganizing my rubber stamp storage and removing from wooden blocks. Using acetate to protect the "sticky" side of the stamp while storing in plastic storage pockets.

Flimsy
Not stiff enough for making my ice cream cake.I wanted to line my cheesecake pan with this so my ice cream cake wouldn't stick, & to increase the height. It didn't hold it's shape above the pan.

Not good for face shields
If you are trying to create face shields for health care workers, this material is too blurry and flimsy.I'm gonna guess it's fine for desserts. Appeared just as described.
