Review: Informative book for elementary aged kids - My rising second grader has been very interested in RBG lately and wanted to read this book. It presents a wonderful overview of her entire life and tenacity. As a lawyer, I thought it did a good job of explaining concepts like federal courts and different levels of courts, how Supreme Court justices are appointed, etc. It included nice context about other justices and political issues of the time. I was surprised at how much content there was. It of course included difficult topics like antisemitism and discrimination against women, and the death of her mother. For the most part, my daughter read this book to me, so that I could interject and explain some of the more difficult parts, as I wanted her to be inspired and not scared. The reading level was maybe around 4th grade? There were a lot of new words for my daughter, but she could still read it, and there were pictures on every page. I will definitely be looking for more books in this series. Review: read to your children - Great book, but how could a RBG book be bad? Good read for children. (To children) …need more words for review to post :/

Great book that holds kids attention.
I bought this book for my daughter, she is six years old and likes to read a variety of types of books. She found this one to be really interesting, it does not read just like a boring autobiography for kids. The storyline is fun and holds the attention of kids and adults. Of course the subject matter is wonderful, we have admired RBG for years. It’s a good choice to learn about all the amazing things she’s done in a fun and interesting way.

Everything You (and Your Kids) Would Want to Know about RBG
What I love about this biography written for children is that so many antecedents from RBG's childhood lead the reader to understand how RBG became the person she is today. So much context is embedded, helping kids understand what the world (and country) was like way-back-when. Besides RBG's story, you get a history lesson, a civics lesson, and a bunch of fun facts to boot. Illustrations are a plus too. I have now bought copies for most of the kids in my life, and will be getting more for some of my grown-up friends.

Great Book for my 5th Grader
This was a wonderful read for my 5th grader who was assigned some non fiction books. These series are wonderful and manage to capture all the great details and important information while still being easy to understand for this age level. And what better way to honor and teach all about RBG! I actually took the time and read it myself and can attest to how good it was!

Perfect Gift for all young readers!!
I bought this for my 12 yr old niece to help explain “who” Ruth Bader Ginsburg is and the importance of her position as the first female appointed Supreme Court Justice and all of her accomplishments that lead her to that position. This is Great for kids ages 11+ yrs. Very easy to read, pictures, informative. If I could give it more stars I would !!

The Notorious RBG
I bought this book for my daughter who is 6. We read it together. She's very interested in reading about people and the great things they have done. It's never to early to teach our girls about empowerment. RBG is an outstanding role model for all, especially young girls!
