Love this recliner, very well made
Amazon and the delivery company had no clue what in the world was going on with the delivery. I received a text message 10 days before it was due to be delivered, after 6 pm at night, saying it would be there before 8 pm. Of course it wasn't. I called the delivery company when they opened the next morning and they informed me that it was with the company that delivers in my state and they would contact me in the next 48 hours to set up delivery. 30 minutes later guess what? Here it was, being dropped off in front of my garage by the truck.I was thrilled it was early, my parents were visiting so I had help getting it inside and a good chair for my father to claim as all his. But communication could definitely be improved. How is the chair? Very simple to put together, it just needs 2 people to snap the back on as it's bulky and would be hard to position with only 1 person trying to hold up the back and get it lined up correctly. The chair is on the stiff side, not one of those sink into the cushion types. But that's a good thing for a big and tall chair. It's comfortable, the action of raising and lowering the footrest and reclining is smooth and is at a moderate rate. The chair itself is very heavy and sturdy. It doesn't have any problem with a large individual using it on a daily basis. I have had it for 4 weeks now and I am very pleased with it and would recommend it to anyone else.

Not if, but when it breaks…
Chair is big. About the only positive I have for it. Cushions are stiff. The leg rest has 0 cushion to it. The motor went out on recliner less than 2 months from delivery. When need it fixed, neither amazon or lane wants to help. Don’t buy this chair!!!!

Good enough
I've been looking for a chair with a high weight capacity and would be sturdy enough to last several years. I haven't had the chair long enough to determine if the latter is true, but based on my limited experience so far it seems like it will.I decided upon this model because it is a rocker and for the power option. Because the chair is really designed for tall people (I'm only 5' 8"), I didn't want to risk being unable to reach the lever on the manual version. The power controls are placed higher, just below the right arm.As for comfort, it's okay. The seat cushion is a little too firm for my liking, but it's not terrible. At 5' 8" my feet don't touch the floor when sitting in this chair. Because I'm not able to stable myself with feet on the ground, the chair leans back too much when I'm sitting in it. This is due to the chair being a rocker and isn't stationary. For this reason, I must recline the footrest about 1/3 of the way so that the chair remains upright when I don't feel like rocking. Somewhat annoying.I also wish the back and footrest could be adjusted independently instead of at the same time. This would allow me to adjust the chair exactly how I want it. Other than that, I like the chair and seems perfect for sitting long periods of time daily.

In a word...Luxury
Bought this for my husband who had an old beat up recliner that was hard to get out of and was over 20yrs old. This recliner is beautiful, super soft, super comfortable yet durable. It's perfect for "big guys". We ordered online and neither of us caught that it was a power rocker recliner until it arrived. It was a pleasant shock lol. Love this and will get one for myself if I can swing it down the road.

Electric , non swivel, no adjustments
No manual back up, very very slow, no ability to vary positions. Huge comfy sturdy high quality durability LANE tough, comfy and beautiful. Make room for her, big Bertha is a gal who demands attention to her big prominent presence. A downfall, no swivel, no rocker, her way or no way, electric only and she is slow as molasses, her usb is poor charging port quality, and has easy wear thru material on the footrest.

Strong Robust Chair for Thick People!
Where other chairs bend and cave in, this bad boy provides excellent firm support and operates smoothly. While I love the chair, the seat is very firm and after a while that does cause me some discomfort if I sit for too long. A soft pillow underneath me helps. My main reason for getting the chair is because of its ability to support my weight and the weight of my significant other. It is very well constructed and suitable for that purpose. We can even both get on this thing together and it holds us both. Mind your business about why we might both be on it at the same time :)

Too Firm and Hard to Assemble
Extremely firm chair. The leg rest area between the foot and seat (meaning where your calves hit the chair rest) has little to no padding and feels of rough wood or other material underneath. While it is very roomy and a long length (meaning my feet don't hang off the edge), the firmness of the seat and back make it hard to sleep in. I also feel that the buttons are too far away from the arm rest to comfortably use them, but people who with longer limbs may not have that issue. As for assembly, the chair itself was impossible to assemble as is. The two metal bars that are meant to slide into the base were much, much too wide to actually fit. This made it actually impossible to assemble as is. I had to get someone to bend the bars to get it to work.In conclusion: If you are looking for an extra comfy, squishy chair to sleep in, I would keep looking. This chair is far too firm and assembly far too annoying to recommend this chair.

Love It
I'm in love with this chair and the price was about half of what it was in the furniture store. It is huge. 5'6" female and there is no way my feet can touch the floor unless I sit on the edge. I can not emphasize huge enough. This is a big man chair. That is what I wanted so there'd be room for the dogs and me. Make sure you want huge - then grab this one. It's divine.
