I can finally say I found a stand up charger that works great with the Samsung Active 2. Installing the charger that comes with the watch is very easy! The magnet part fits perfectly! It stays on very well. It's made of all rubber. The rubber isn't flimsy, it's very sturdy enough for a night stand or a little table in my living room. I may get another one for my bedroom but the battery on the Active 2 last a long time. I'm telling you that you'll have no issues at all. just keep the back of your watch clean. I can say that I'm not sending this one back! Great price! Well built! Keeps watch on the stand! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Works great, UNLESS you have a chunky, aftermarket case/band on your watch -- lol, ask me how I know... A case around your watch makes it sit higher on the stand and creates charging problems as it prevents proper contact with the charging pad. Took off one star for not mentioning that in the description. But, if you are wearing the watch as purchased, this is one handy little charging stand.

First off, I don't write many reviews. Second, I am a 25+/yr Computer Technician. I cannot for the life of me figure out why my watch REFUSES to charge when sat on this ingenious charger. Yes, the charger is inserted into the cradle correctly, Yes, it starts charging when I place the watch down, but hours later I notice my watch continuously discharge. I have tested this cradle out so much/many times as I usually just chuck it into my computer wires/extras box in abandonment each time I try to convince myself that there couldn't be anything wrong with it. I am always WRONG i thinking this. Each time I re-setup this device for my watch (A 10 second process), it always FAILS to charge my watch. So, Here I sit again after re-testing this item one last time before throwing it away and yet again - My watch won't charge on this. My ultimate findings have me believing that the charger fit's so snugly into this rubber device, that the watch does not make full contact with the charger (and it's a DARN shame) as it was/is something that is about perfect size wise/minimalist & Simple to use.

This is a simple, sturdy, small stand with a non-slip soft base, that is a perfect fit for my nice new Samsung Galaxy Watch, Active 2 44mm dial Model SM-R820. The reason I listed the looong name is that Samsung seems to have compatibility issues between watch models, so I had to waste quite a bit of time finding a stand that claims compatibility with mine. Meanwhile I mislaid my charger, so i had to get a compatible replacement for that also. If you are as much of a klutz as I, here's the Amazon item I bought that worked even better than the original (stronger magnet) "Sankel Compatible for Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 40mm/44mm Charger". Unfortunately it was not listed on Amazon when I searched for it today (11/17/19). Carefully read the description of any accessories you buy! The stand is well designed, with a vertical plate to support the watch at a good visual angle. Simply feed the charger cord from the front through the slot in the plate and press the charger disk into the recess in the stand. Plug in to any available USB-A port. Took less than a minute. There is a recess in the base to stabilize the watch which, in concert with the plate plus the grip of the watch and charger magnets gives your watch a secure, comfy spot to relax and recover. Fits my galaxy watch 4 classic fine but not the charger, it's loose and just hangs freely in the opening, I'll have to modify it some, add some padding around the charger to make it fit
