Had just received this item - suction nozzles do not have holes?

Actually, it is the factory’s setting that all the nozzles provided are solder-filled to prevent them from oxidation at the first time of use. what's the silicone pad for? it looks like it's supposed to wrap around a cable.

Its a heat-resistant pad so you can remove the tip without waiting for it to cool down. You can attach it to a cable if you want to avoid losing track of it.

Is there a hot air gun attachment sold separately for this station?
