I was missing a part so I filled out the Form at their website.They responded in 5 Minutes with a phonecall !!Has anyone had a Company respond in 5 Minutes??I told the very nice man what I needed and he will send it out tomorrow morning.Meanwhile, the window box is really nice. It’s made of thick plastic, the brackets are sturdy and the drainage system will work.I really like the brackets that will hold the window box level; away from the house.If I could give this Review 10 Stars I would.Maybe they are so nice because they are a Canadian company?

The design on these planter boxes is extraordinary. The bottom foot that allows you to square up the boxes so they hang level is patented for good reason. Our deck rails are minimalist with thin wires. So, having the ability to not only adjust the top hangars to the correct width but also have the support at the bottom of the box was necessary for our deck. I don’t think any other planter boxes have this ability, at least none that I found. The boxes feel very secure on our railing and I was very impressed with the design.

I don’t like to use all this plastic and this planter does not hold it’s adjustment

I use it as a squirrel feeder. I had my handyman drill holes in it to prevent rain from filling it up. It keeps squirrels out of my bird feeder and safe from my little dog.

I was initially thrilled with this planter, and immediately ordered a second one. BIG MISTAKE. INIYIALLY, they worked fine. Two weeks later, we had a lot of rain, but I was not concerned because they do drain. But first one of them fell to the deck, and I figured it was a fluke. It seemed as though the small anchor posts that you use to set the unit to the right size for your railing don’t hold fast. Later that day, the second one fell! They are now both sitting on the floor of the deck. I did not want to go to the hassle of returning them due to the growing plants inside. Considering the high price, I paid probably triple what I could have paid had I just bought a simple floor pot instead of a railing pot.

I bought 4 of these 11 years ago. They’ve been exposed to Colorado weather…freezing temperatures with snowy winters and intense sun and hot summers. Only one has started to crack and needed to be replaced this year. These planting boxes are extremely sturdy and well made. Very pleased with them.

I ordered the Driftwood color twice and received white both times. I kept the first order as one of my decks is white. But I am returning the second order. I’m hesitant to order a third time. I really like these but fear I’ll just get white a third time. They are sturdy so I’m hoping I can get the proper color eventually.

Make sure you’ll measure your rail! I did not. I found a nice spot on the fence for it! Works as advertised!
