I would like to say that the ladies size small fit me as I desired. It is a tad tight across the chest, but a medium was just too large all over. I am 5'4", weight about 124 and wear 34B. I believe that in order for this vest to cool you, it has to have direct contact with as much skin as possible. A medium only touched me at the shoulders. The small really fits, so it touches everywhere. The chest snugness is never an issue with the size small. I wear a tank top under the vest, which is always damp from the vest. When I take it all off, all of my skin that was in contact with the vest, is cool to the touch.I have MS and use this vest when I exercise at the gym. Before using the vest, my workouts were very difficult. I could not see well, think clearly or move well enough to do anything but rest for 10 minutes after just a few minutes of mild exercise.Now I put the wet vest on over my tank top before leaving home. I drink a frozen fruit & vanilla soy milk smoothie while I sit in the AC with a fan pointed at me. Then I get in the car with the AC aimed at the vest. I am able to perform well enough with the vest to actually complete 20 minutes of elliptical/recumbent bike/treadmill at my 80th percentile, rest 10 minutes, then get on a different machine to get the other ten minutes.I have used it for going to the supermarket and to get some housework done. I don't think it would work as well for me out in the 90 degree heat. But with the AC blasting, I am very happy these days.It works well for my needs.

I have to say this is my best purchase ever. I have multiple sclerosis and am not tolerant to the heat. This vest has allowed me to garden, enjoy walking with my dog and children, go to the park, go to outdoor markets. This vest is amazing. It stays cool for at least five hours. The only thing is it makes your clothes a little damp. They dry quickly!! It is a little small for being an extra large. I knew this worked the first time I wore it when, my two year old looked at me, and said she wanted to go inside because she was hot!!! This is the first of many I will be purchasing!!! This is definitely a life changing item for me!!

I always use it with temps 85F or higher. Stays cold for 1-2 hours. Fast reactivation.*** Make sure to take it off when it dries. If you will wear it dry, it doesn't work, it will actually make you hotter. You have to re-soak it in water to reactivate the evaporation cooling effect.*** Hang it upside down for a bit, so water can drip towards the shoulders, this way the bottom of the vest will not drip on your pants when you will wear it.*** Don't leave it for a long time soaking in water: gell beads will start to dissolve and vest will not work as well.

Works as you might expect, soak the vest in water to hydrate the gel, pop it on and the evaporative effect on the gel will help keep you cooler. I wear this vest under my mesh jacket while riding my motorcyle in hot weather. The vest fits as expected, based on the size chart - and it is on the short side by design - if you're riding (a bike or a horse) there isn't excess material folded up in your lap as there might be if it was significantly longer. While the vest does keep my core cooler, it also leaves me rather waterlogged - I wore this over a regular tee shirt and the tee was rather soggy after my ride.Also of note, on the first several wears, you might notice some gel "escaping" at the stitched seams in the vest (see photo).

I wavered between the size L and XL. I wear a size L in women's shirts and tees, but I chose the XL since I will wear it over a shirt. It is a little roomy, but I am tall and it is just right in the length. If I were to order again, I would stick with the XL. I wore it horseback riding in 95 degree heat in Arizona; I was quite comfortable. It was breezy which I think helped me to feel cooler, but the breeze caused the vest to dry faster. My ride lasted just over two hours and the vest was still slightly damp when I got home. I selected the silver as I thought the color would be reflective of the heat. I am very glad I got this and will definitely use it this hot Arizona summer.

Wore this while riding through Mojave dessert, Vegas and Utah. It helped a lot. It will only feel cool for about 40 minutes but it’s better than nothing. We soaked them in water, placed in a ziplock the put them in the freezer. The next day it felt so good wearing them in the scorching heat. Remember, wearing these while riding on a motorcycle through super hot weather will maybe only last 40 minutes or so but it’s better than nothing!

It was to small for a medium size but it will fit my daughter. Like the way it looked and fitted on her. So ordered a large one for me. It is exactly how it was advertised. Keeps cool for several hours. Would like to see in some other colors. I use it for horse show classes. Would like to see one in red, royal blue, or white. I think that they would sell pretty good..

Great vest for cooling down. I work in temps over 100 degrees and would never make it out there without it. Even when it is humid out - as long as you dunk it in ice water, it will still keep you cool. Love that it has a high neck, zippered pockets, and it fits well. The only problem I have with it ( and I have several of these vests) is that they are poorly made. They are "quilted" such that the water absorbing crystals are evenly distributed... but the seams of the quilts readily pull out. You know,.. how you pull a thread and the entire thing comes apart. Only there are loose threads everywhere just waiting to be pulled ( and pull they do). Also the fabric is really thin and wears holes in it very easily. These vests have been an absolutely invaluable tool for me to use as I work outside for a living. At the same time, I shouldn't have to buy one or two every year because they fall apart :(

Bei Hitze mache ich furchtbar schnell schlapp. Da ist die Kühlweste eine kleine Erleichterung. Die Aktivierung durch Tränken mit Wasser ist einfach, allerdings muss das 1 /2 Tag im Voraus geplant werden, sonst qird man zu nass. Im aktivierten Zustand ist die Weste wegen des Gewichts und dem "klammen" Gefühl zwar kühl, aber gerade bei schwülem Wetter nicht super angenehm. Nach 2-3 Tagen ist die Wirkung vorbei und die Weste muss erneut aktiviert werden.

Leider habe ich den Artikel in der falschen Größe bekommen. Eine Ersatzlieferung ist nicht möglich, da der Fehler ja nicht bei Amazon liegt. Hoffentlich klappt wenigstens die Rücksendung!Bea
