Bought this to attach to my Milwaukee 2351-20 M12 LED Stick Light with a stainless screw (1/4 in -20 x3/4in from hardware store). It works great, almost too strong of a hold. In hindsight, I should really go with a weaker magnet but the weaker ones are too small in diameter for my application.

This is basically a 1/4" thick magnet that is weakened by a steel cup around it. The advertised 200+ pound strength is laughable. My five year can pull it off. The only good thing about it is the countersunk hole. Recommend the company ditch the steel cup and make the magnet 1/2" thick. OH, and on top of that, it's not returnable due to "safety reasons" even though it's Prime.

PLEASE RESTOCK! I need a few more of these magnets and I don't want to buy anything else. These 270 lb. magnets are stonger than anothe one that I purchased with a 700 lb rating.

Strong Magnet ! Tied to a string and dragged it along the perimeter of my house after alot of construction was done. Wasn't interested in having nails shoot out in random direction when mowing the lawn. Worked very well ! Picked up over 120 types of nails. Very pleased with how it worked because i didn't even see more than half the nails that it attracted.

Used this for a weight for the bottom of a round soldering tip cleaner canister. Be careful....while trying to center it on a metal piece it snapped together and about took my fingers with it..Haha. Super strong and heavy duty. Worked well as a solution for my issue.

This is a ridiculously strong magnet. Worth the money if you need something to hold like that. I use it to hold a flashing light onto the roof of my hardtop Jeep Wrangler Sport. It doesn't move in the slightest, even the few times I've gone on the interstate with the light still on the roof, going 70+mph. Confident that it'll stay.

Thanks to the hole in the middle, I could threat para cord through the magnet and rescue the knife I'd dropped down my well.The magnet did attach itself to the metal wall, as I'd anticipated, but with the cord kept it from being too smooth, and therefore impossible to free.Now I can rescue any tool that falls into my well!
