Trinity is an abstract two player strategy game where you can exercise your tactical expertise and pattern recognition skills to capture your opponent. The game is designed to be compact, yet engaging for ease-of-travel and enjoying downtime during your adventures. Players have 5 tokens each and can either place a token, move a token, or place a dead space on the board. You capture your opponent's token by maneuvering your own to restrict their movement. The opponent then receives a dead space tile to potentially turn the tides. A player wins when 3 of the opponent's tokens have been captured. Backed on Kickstarter--Totally Worth It!
So, I backed this on Kickstarter because the travel size and overall simplicity appealed to me. Overall, I'm glad I backed it and would buy it again in a heartbeat.The components are nice without being extravagant. The board is basically a mouse pad, and the stones aren't special, but still nice. It looks pretty, but if you loose a piece somewhere in the middle of the woods, it wouldn't be devastating.The gameplay itself is also a lot of fun. I've been able to explain it in a matter of minutes (though there are one or two corner cases that are difficult to explain immediately), and I'm not guaranteed a win just because I've played it before. That tells me the strategy is easy enough to understand and develop in a single playthrough.So far, I've played this on the train, on a park bench, and on an airplane--and next time I go camping, you can bet this will be coming along.So long story short, I'm a big fan. Highly recommend this to anyone who likes a perfect information game (ala Chess, Checkers, Onitama, etc).[Side note: If you forget this in a 100°F car, the yellow stones will develop some color irregularities. So don't do that ;) )

Awesome game
Really good game, it has an unusual and fun mix of simplicity and trickiness, 10/10 would recommend for travel or at home
