works well
they work really well but if you think you are going to be able to use them to fill something large using a battery powered inflator, dont bother. I thought I could use my ryobi inflator to fill my float tube. It would have taken forever and probably overheat the inflator more than once. For those stick with a manual inflator or one designed for air mattresses. Inflators with schrader valves are intended for pressure, not volume...things like tires, not air mattresses, float tubes, or inflatable pontoons. These would be good for topping off those though

It adapts an air compressor to your inflatable device.
I'm using an M12 portable air compressor to inflate a small pool. It took quite a while, could be just asking a lot from the M12. But before I inflated the lower ring, I removed the valve stem core, and drilled out the brass bore. It works ok. Better than sweating my but off pumping manually. Next will be pumping up the 2 person inflatable paddle board from Costco. We'll see what happens. Overall, it will inflate.

Float Tube with Boston Valve inflation friendly
I have an Outback Fatcat float tube for pursuing trout in the Eastern Sierra. It has a Boston valve for inflation, which is not compatible with my 12 volt auto/bicycle tire air pump, or any gas station tire air pump, or just about any non-human powered (and therefor fast) air pump.Well, this little attachment solves the compatibility problem. It easily attaches the Fatcat Boston valve to the air pump hose, and topped off my float tube from flaccid to firm in less than 5 minutes. Very handy for those cold Sierra mornings when the tube isn't firm due to the temperature drop overnight. No more hand pumping or blowing through the Boston Valve with a plastic tube!It lets the car battery do the heavy inflation work while I put on my waders.

Useless and broken
Red housing has a huge crack upon receipt. In addition, the SUP adapter doesn’t fit a traditional paddle board inflation hole. Useless.

Too slow with air compressor
This is great if you dont have an air compressor because it attaches to gas stationair pumps for tires (has the same threaded stem as a car tire). But if you have your own compressor, you are really limiting the air flow because the only way to attach this is through a car tire stem which is a slow fill. Large rafts will take several minutes to inflate at a slow pace. I ended up drilling out the car tire stem and glueing in a large thread made for my quick attach compressor handle... Now it inflates large rafts in 10 seconds (insert Tim the Tool Man Taylor grunts here) :)

Works as a "Boston Valve" Adapter
I purchased a few Intex River Run XL floats as well as the floating cooler. I didn't realize my Black & Decker Air Station wouldn't really be able to blow them up and learned all about the Boston Valve during the process! This adapter set had exactly what was needed for $10 and saved me the purchase of another dedicated air pump. Worked great!
