FACE Stockholm Veil Lipstick - Strawberry (3.4g)

Beautiful shade of red. It does not last so needs reapplication, but just beautiful. Love it.

Most lipsticks on me look either ghastly garish or turn me into a wallflower. I’ve bought dozens of lipsticks over the years only to try them once, shudder at the effect and then toss them into a drawer never to be used again. I’ve always admired Carolyn Bessette as a style icon. One day I ran across an article that claimed this lipstick to be one of her favorites. It wasn’t very speedy, so I decided to try it. Wow! Since the first time I tried it, this has become my favorite lipstick. It makes ME look good. It just balances and brings my features into focus without screaming “Look here!” I’m not gonna promise that everyone will love it. If mainstream makeup colors look good on you, this lipstick may look dull on you. It will look the best on someone with pale pinkish skin, blue eyes and not a lot of contrast between skin and hair.

The lipstick is so small it would be better for using as blush, and that would not be enough to apply. Not worth the price. Don’t waste your money.

More blue-red in this one, which I like. Ruby Stain had too much brown. Looks great with cool platinum hair or shockingly blue-black shades. Does not feel like a heavy coating of "lipstick" and yet feels lighter than a lip gloss. Keeps lips moist without having to reapply every hour on the hour.

I love the packaging and I feel very elegant when I use this. It has no "lipsticky" taste which I appreciate, and is very moisturizing. That said, it definitely comes off easily, and is a bit more sheer than I was expecting. But overall I really like this. It might be a bit more "brown" than "cranberry". I got the cherry red color as well, and I like both, though I like the cranberry better. It's much more noticeable when the cherry red starts coming off. The cranberry is more natural, so it wears better through the day.

Its great lipstick but be weary, its darker then it looks.

Not worth the price. I do not think it’s any better than cheaper lip stains/glosses I have purchased but I’ll use it.

I never wear lip stick but I love this product. The shade is wonderful on my pale skin and doesn’t look clownish or silly at all. It’s a deep red but looks quite natural. It doesn’t dry my lips out, it’s not super long lasting but it looks and feels fantastic. Will purchase again.
