Q: I have an old rifle like the one in your Amazon pix. What size bracket do I need to order?

All of the hook inner dimensions (Gun Cradle Area) are the same on all of our hooks. This includes Standard, Low Profile, and Fireplace hangers. This is approximately 2 & 1/8". Any style hook will work. Good Question! Wade of VERDICT BRACKETS
