Excellent value for money.
Brilliant. Love it. Sturdy glass jug, not cheap plastic. Easy to clean. Very strong and effective engine. Love my smoothies! Make them thick or thin, sweet or green. If you’re looking for a smoothie maker or liquidiser(you can tell how old I am!) this will fit the bill. I’m very impressed.

Broken within 9 months
Not only is this not a great a blender (always big bits of ice or banana left), it’s really heavy and within 9 months of use it started smoking and smelling of burnt plastic!!

Poor quality
Great blender initially. However after 3 weeks its stopped working. Also food gets stuck down the edge of the jug that cant be removed.

Poor features
I liked the fact that the bottom bit with the blade unscrewed from the jug, which makes it very easy to clean. However, for the second time now, when I've added liquid some part of it isn't sealed correctly and the liquid has leaked out of the bottom of the blender, all over the electric base that the jug sits on! I've noticed when I attached the jug to the base that the bottom bit with the blade sometimes turns by itself as you turn the whole jug to fix into the electric base. Also, the dial to choose blending speed has broken twice and just free-wheels, but I've fixed this myself. And when blending it sometimes smells like burning plastic. This one is probably my fault, but I wanted to use a blender that blended hot soups, like my old Amazon Basics Blender did (which is now discontinued). As the lid doesn't have any vents like my old Amazon blender did, if you try to blend hot liquid the blender tries to force the hot liquid out by blowing off the lid to release the pressure. To blend hot liquid in this I have to (unsafely) blend small amounts, no more than 500ml at a time, and hold the lid down so it doesn't fly off.I'm now looking for a new blender, as one that leaks from the base onto the electrical part of the blender is not good enough.
