JIUWU Micro USB Male to USB Female Host OTG Cable + Power Cable Y Splitter

I had another OTG cable that didn't use a proper gauged wire before this one and I had a lot of issues with charging and USB stability. Went to this cable and my issues were resolved. Don't waste your time on other products. This worked great for my Nexus 7 dash install.

This the better quality USB OTG cable. Don't get the one that is a few bucks cheaper. The wires are significantly than any USB OTG I've ever seen. the connectors are heavy duty and clip into the other connectors securely. I use this cable for my in dash fixed installation of a Nexus 7 in my Forester. The tablet is running on Timurs Kernel on stock 6.1. This cable charges the tablet quickly while powering 6 slave usb devices. It is hard the write much about a cable. THis cable allows you to connect USB devices while charging the tablet.

This cable works perfectly fine supplying power, HOWEVER I bought is specifically for my Kindle Fire HDX and it still doesn’t allow for external USB drives to work. I tried two different portable battery chargers with different amperages and also a wall plug adapter. This is not a knock to this cable, simply a disadvantage to owning a Kindle Fire tablet. On the flip side, it allows a USB drive to be connected to my old Samsung Note 2 to transfer files, but oddly does NOT supply power to the phone.

Cheaply made, worked for a day now it cuts out the signal when you move the wire.

Not much to say about this product other than it works like is supposed to and seems to be made of great quality materials. I used it for a special application in my car computer and it worked very well. The one I bought before this one didn't communicate with my distribution hub all the time but this one did. Recommended!

Great product if you have a power hungry phone/tablet external peripherals such as Android TV Tuner or Hard Drive. This is not obvious from the product description but you can’t charge phone/tablet using that OTG cable! It provides power for external peripheral devices only (with any USB Power Banks or Wall Charger).

Power connector doesn't work, Android tablet doesn't charge by plugging in the male USB to a battery brick, although the Android tablet will play movies off a jump drive plugged into the female (white) plug, so you get 50% functionality. Also beware that if your headphone jack is right next to the micro USB port on your device, this right-angle connector has a 50% chance of being "the wrong way" and blocking it - my Verizon 8" Android Ellipsis tablet is a victim, and I had to go to Bluetooth earbugs instead of wired. I will be looking for another brand that doesn't have these two limitations.

I bought this cable to use a USB keyboard on my tablet (nvidia shield) while charging and can confirm this cable works as desired. As other reviewers mentioned, there is a specific order of operations that must be followed for charging. Connect the cable to the power source using the USB A male connection, then plug the micro USB end into the device and confirm charging. You can then plug your USB device in the USB A female port. It's not the prettiest thing to see hanging off your tablet, but it works.

I bought this to enable me to charge two mobile phones , one blackberry and one apple. Unfortunately it doesn't charge the apple (note that I have used an apple extension to the open usb).

Tried it recently and it no longer works.

the charging side very slow charge but ok i suppose
