These are great. With the included instructions I’ve been able to make nearly 50 patch cables that work at line rate. Straight through gives a warm fuzzy feeling that the cable will work before you even crimp.

These connectors work fine once you get the hang of them, but a few didn’t crimp as cleanly as expected. They fit a bit tight on 23AWG solid wire, so you need to be careful when inserting. Overall decent for the price, just not flawless.

I had some outdoor / direct burial CAT 6 cable that I was having a really hard time terminating with standard RJ45 passthrough connectors, even though they were technically rated for the correct gauge wire. I ordered these just to give them a shot and they worked so much better, definitely recommend if you are working with direct burial CAT 6 cable.

Says works with 23awg. It does not Bought in March too late to return. Beware

Tried two short cables (four ends) and neither could do 1Gbps. They "work" with my Cat6 23AWG 1.11mm OD solid cable, but will only connect to my router at 100Mbps, while a Cat5e cable of the same length will connect at 1Gbps. I'm guessing they can't do higher speeds because of the two-prong pin design, and like another reviewer said, it looks like some of the pins slide to the side of the conductor and don't make a great connection. I have a good Klein brand crimper, so that's not the issue.
