Timeless Frames Carrington Frame Pewter, 12" x 18"

The frame is gorgeous, it looks fantastic, it's lightweight, it appears to be constructed well, but - I bought it specifically because it claimed it had UV-resistant glass and I'm trying to protect the object I want framed, and the packaging says nothing about UV-resistant glass. So now I have no idea, and will have to buy the glass separately just to be safe.Knocking off another star because it states that it comes with the hardware to hang it but there is no wire included. It's nice that it can be hung either as a landscape or a portrait, but know that you will have to buy and attach the wire separately.Edit, 6/24/19: ....having acquired the hardware needed to hang it (and I strung that wire tightly) in portrait-mode, the brackets to which the wire attaches are so close to the edge of the frame that it cannot be hung on a picture hanger, because the hanger then shows over the top. Which means I knock off another star. (Currently, it's hanging off the top of the picture hanger, instead of the hook part of the hanger, because I don't want to put another nail into my wall.)

Best thing I can say about it is it's a nice looking frame. But packaging does not confirm that it is U.V. glass so I'm left to wonder? No mat included which was fine for my needs however the construction doesn't easily accommodate double matting.

Nice frame with glass. Good value for your money. Needs a wire to hang but that is available for a couple of bucks.
