So happy to see Micah and Tempie get their demons out of their lives so love can move in. This book has the background of previous books 1& 2 but then this book goes further and gives answers you never expected . twists and turns , confessions and yet Love wins again and that's worth reading this book because it has answers you need to complete the three sisters happily ever after.

That thin line between love and hate was crossed! Milan's fiance Sally died, and on her death bed told Micah her secret. Constance reveals to Tempest that she poisoned Sally and was killing her, to get a Burnet! She failed to kill Tempest, but Tempest prevents her from forcing Micah to marry her! What a riot! Loved that scene! Lots of fun banter!

Following the characters through the series is fun. Everything is open and aboveboard throughout the story. The evil one comes out of the woodwork.

This might be my favorite Carolyn Brown series, but by all means, start with Book 1. I missed #2 and have to read them out of order. You will love the “angels” as they show themselves to be strong, capable women.

Wonderful book. It ends a fun series. The females sisters in the books have so much spirit. I loved the story. There are interesting twists and turns. The humor is wonderful.

I love the characters Carolyn creates. They are woven together into a caring family group. All of this is accomplished without the use of offensive language or "in depth" romantic interludes.

Been a pleasure getting to know the Lavelle girls & their men.Thank you Mrs. Brown foe these delightful stories as a bright spot in a day.

Finally we get to Tempest and Micah's story. This one takes place at the Mississippi plantation. There's not the excitement of Indians, robbers or Santa Anna's men chasing them but there are some very unexpected turns. It opens with Micah engaged to Sally and at her deathbed. She has a confession before she dies. It completely rocks his world and of all people for him to share it with, Tempest is the one. This puts them on a road of friendship and almost costs Tempest her life. Several other characters and couples are introduced, giving the ending a feel of a loving village to support and depend on. Nice series.

Absolutely wonderful story there is laughter and romance bringing everything together. The brothers had a shock when they first met the sister's . The women had been taught to shoot better than most men and to be able to ride a horse they wear trousers and don't sit side saddle. The brothers have taken on three sassy ladies. Fabulous

Another great book from Carolyn Brown with strong female characters. The importance of families, friends and love at the heart of the book.
