This camera is amazing. At first it was kind of complicated learning to scroll through the various options this camera has to offer, but it's well worth it. The pictures are fantastic and the video is crystal clear. Best camera I've ever owned. Period.

There's a reason the Gopro action cameras are priced at the top end of the market, their beautifully made, can handle video in 4k, and can go places that the larger Digital SLRs simply cannot entertain. The GoPro Silver has an incredibly wide angle lens, allowing the use of light to take superb images for a camera so small. Even though the set up menu, looks complicated to start, you soon realise how straight forward it is, and with this Hero 4 Silver model having an inbuilt LCD screen, adjusting the settings and viewing your pictures is very straight forward. I was convinced into buying one, when i was blown away by the simply amazing sports candid shots, granted these videos are taken by experts who know how to use a video camera, but there have been many instances where i would love to have been in posession of a still camera, but because of the weather, i was afraid to use one. Keep this GoPro in it's high impact quality plastic housing, and you have a camera able to take both photographs and videos, under water, to a depth of around 120ft, and in salt water as well. Not that your average photographer would use that facility very often, but in the Uks very damp climate, being able to utilise this video camera in any weather imaginable, is a big bonus. Photographs taken in 4k are incredibly detailed, and as long as you use a very high quality micro sd card, such as Sandisks Extreme range, the photographs and video can equal that taken by some larger SLR cameras. Even though the huge array of accessories are not cheap, every product is manufactured to very high standards, and the suction cup that you can mount on top of your car or other moving vehicle, is one of the best accessories. Maybe the GoPro range of cameras are not bargains, but in daily use, they are able to carry out functions that any other digital camera, could never dream about. Their expensive, because their rather good at what they do, and when something is good to use, and produces great results, sometimes it's worth paying for that pleasure.

Excellent product and service by Amazon. 1. The product itself is very good and quality is truly impressive. This is an original GoPro Hero 4 Adventure Edition, Silver. If this is your first GoPro, as was in my case, it will take some time before you get used to handling and using the camera. So don't be disappointed in your initial use and you will be rewarded well. 2. Video quality is superb. Especially if you take videos on 1080 "SuperView". It gives a surreal kind of a touch to it. 3. The phone app is really God sent. You can remotely turn the camera on/off, take pics/videos, adjust settings, view your videos/images and the best part is you can make a short clip out of your video or take a picture from the video on the app itself. 4. My advise would be to keep on experimenting with different combination of settings, be it video or stills. Therefore if you plan to take it for a trip or something, make sure you use the camera for atleast 2 weeks before you leave. 5. Do not expect still picture quality as sharp as a DSLR but I doubt you will be disappointed with the quality. All in all its an amazing product, and quality as I mentioned is very good. The built is really solid and it feels good in your hand. You wont regret buying this. I prefer the Silver edition because of the obvious reason- it has an LCD which helps frame your shots. However if your concern is ONLY video, then I suggest you shell out a little extra and go for the Black edition which lets you shoot 4K videos at 60fps.

La recomiendo a todo aquel que practique un deporte o la quiera para el uso diario, es una camara muy pequeña, y de peso muy reducido que nos permite hacer fotos y videos a una resolucion increible. El ultra gran angular abarca un amplio campo de vision, sinceramente creo que esta compra es mas inteligente que la esta misma gopro en la edicion black, ya que el 4k no se utiliza mucho normalmente y la black cuesta 100€ mas que esta version aun teniendo la pantalla tactil. Recomiendo comprar todo tipo de accesorios ya que gopro se caracteriza por sus altos precios pero en mi caso he comprado varios accesorios que no son de la marca y estoy muy contento con ellos. Una compra muy inteligente. Resolucion increible, buenos accesorios y la mejor action cam del mercado.

Erfüllt alle Anforderungen wie beschrieben. Man bekommt für den Preis was man auch erwartet. Ob landschaftliche Szenen, Langzeitbelichtung, schnelle Actionszenen, diese Kamera fängt alles ein was man möchte.

Comme chaque année, la société GoPro nous en remet une couche avec une nouvelle génération de leur produit phare. La première étape sera de faire son choix entre deux modèles (je fais abstraction du modèle low cost qui n’apporte rien à part son prix). - Go Pro hero Black - Go Pro Hero Silver Le tableau comparatif des deux caméras est disponible sur le site de GoPro mais pour résumer : - Les deux versions ont le même capteur mais pas le même processeur - Les performances « photos » sont identiques - Les performances vidéos sont meilleurs coté Black avec possibilité de filmer en 4K 30 ips + mode SuperView + 120 ips en 1080i là où la version silver s’arrête au du 4K 15ips sans superview et 120 ips seulement en 720p - La GoPro Silver a un écran tactile. Alors comment faire votre choix ? En fait, c’est assez simple : je pense que la majorité des personnes n’ont pas besoin de la version Black. La 4K en 30 ips donne un rendu magnifique mais cela vient avec son lot d’inconvénients : taille des vidéos très importantes, lourdeur dans le post-traitement, consommation importante de la batterie, prix de la caméra 100 euros plus cher voire plus si vous souhaitez y ajouter l’écran LCD en option... Bref, sauf le mordu qui veut une qualité irréprochable pour ses vidéos semi-pro ou pro, à l’usage, je suis persuadé que la plupart des gens finissent pas ne plus utiliser la résolution 4K. La version Silver est 100 euros moins chère, avec un écran LCD tactile inclus. Ok pas de 4K Superview à 30 ips mais ses performances restent excellente et largement suffisant pour le sportif extrême occasionnelle ou le papa de famille qui veut filmer les exploits de ses enfants. Pour ma part, j’ai opté pour la version Silver. Rien à redire sur la qualité, l’écran LCD est petit mais super pratique. L’ergonomie de la caméra devient bien meilleure, même si certains menus pourraient être un peu plus optimisés. Niveau qualité des vidéos/photos, c’est très bon, même en basse lumière. Pas encore parfait en intérieur, mais comme chaque année, un petit progrès à noter par rapport à la génération précédente. Noter bien qu’avec GoPro, c’est comme avec la marque de la Pomme, vous êtes bons pour repasser à la caisse pour tous les accessoires. ET cela fait très vite grimper la facture. Le contenu de la boite est ridicule (même pas de prise secteur USB…). Mais globalement, pas du tout déçu de mon choix, je recommande sans soucis si le prix ne vous effraie pas.
