Q: Is it machine washable?

Although our bags are made tough, we still don't recommend washing them in a washing machine. We recommend hand washing the bag to avoid any possibility of damage from the machine wash.

Q: Do the inserts fold; if so, can the be folded and placed inside the carrier?

You can fold them, but they do not stay folded. Material has thick insulation. If you don’t need the drink slots, I recommend just buying a igloo lunch bag.

Q: Is it advisable to put both hot and cold drinks in the same one of these bags, or should I get a separate bag for each type if transporting both?

It depends on what you’re using the bag for. If it’s food delivery a lot of times you will receive multiple cold drinks so they will stay cold as the bag is insulated. Or if you get hot drinks the drinks will stay hot. I imagine if you had both in there at the same time the cold drink would still hold up if it had ice but it might not be ice cold. You don’t need a separate bag tbh. If you want to separate hot and cold drinks you can remove the cup holders within
