Beautiful but some issues
For presentation and packaging this is a 5 star item. However there are some concerns. I received the item with the storm glass containing a lot of crystals at the bottom, probably from shipment. It was packaged well so I did not think much of it. I reset the storm glass by heating the object with a hair dryer. It's been a week and the storm glass does not change. Still shows crystals at the bottom which indicates frost. My room is generally 70-75°F. Storm glasses usually work best if outside but this one is too small and delicate to be left outside. Perhaps in a windowsill some change will happen. In south Texas our summers are hot and long. The hygrometer does not match my digital hygrometer even after resetting that by exposure to salt in a controlled environment. It is off by about 10-15%. The clock although tiny seems to be accurate enough. The thermometer also seems to read well with no issues. The wood casing is gorgeous with a lovely stain and varnish. This is still a beautiful gift for anyone who wants something unique. I showed it compared to a glass Galileo thermometer I have. It's small but more suited to a desk. Overall, not bad at all and a great value. TLDR Pros: Packaging in Styrofoam Presentation and colors Thermometer and functions Clock Ease of setup Cons: Tiny numbers on clock and hygrometer due to tiny size Hard to remove clock or hygrometer without carefully avoiding any pressure on the glass vials Potentially unreactive storm glass Inaccurate and unadjustable or uncalibrated hygrometer

Cute and functional little desk ornament
6-year update I got my Analog weather station in 2020, and it's been a permanent fixture in my office ever since. My only complaint is that I wish there were a larger, wall-mountable version, because at roughly 8" tall, this thing is tiny and the clock and hygrometer are difficult to read due to their size. But it makes for a great desk ornament all the same. The thermometer is reliable and accurate (for those who don't know, the ambient temp is always between the lowest floating bulb and the highest sunk bulb, which leaves you with a roughly 4° temperature range that you can use to guesstimate the room's actual temp). The storm glass is a fun inclusion, and will occasionally work, but isn't exactly reliable. Usually the crystals sit in the bottom of the glass, and will occasionally have some larger flaky crystals at the top of the pile. I've noticed these large flaky crystals do usually correspond with cloudy skies, though not very consistently. There have been maybe two occasions where I have noticed the glass filled with large flaky crystals, and this seems to only happen when very large storms are in the area. Overall this is a great little accessory and will last for years if cared for.

Decent Weather Station
The quality is decent with this weather station. It is small I thought it would be larger. It seems to work fine. I have discovered that the storm glass does not work well inside my house. But it does look nice on the mantle. This item is not weather proof. It would be great in a screened in porch, in my house it is more like a decoration. It is nice for the price.

Beautiful, but Flimsy
I purchased this item as a Christmas gift for my father who loved it. That is, until the very first time he actually touched the item. There is a small clock on the weather station (the whole item is small but really beautiful) as well as an instrument to measure the humidity. When you receive the item it tells you in the instructions to look up the humidity in your area and then adjust the setting on the weather station to that same reading by turning a small hand on the humidity gauge with a screwdriver. As soon as he touched the screwdriver to the humidity gauge the hand fell off inside the glass cover. There is no way to take the cover off and reattach the hand, so the humidity gauge is broken without ever having worked one day. It's possible that he just received a faulty weather station, but it seems like items of quality just are not made anymore. Very much a bummer because otherwise, the weather station is beautiful.

Gallaleo temperature combo
My husband loves it. He’s always wanted a Gallaleo temperature indicator. And with the clock and barometric gauge was a plus.

Very neat desk ornament
I used to work in an office that was pretty far from windows, thus preventing me from seeing outside. Tad depressing being so far away from the cheery sunlight, so I bought this little thermometer. My parents have a very large one that's wall-mounted, and this reminded me very much of home. It's a beautiful little ornament on my desk and the colors are so bright and cheerful. Also pretty useful to know how warm it was in the office whenever the thermostat was on the fritz, and got a lot of compliments from fellow cubicle mates walking by. My only confusion was the gauge on the right. It wasn't necessarily inaccurate, but wasn't always cloudy when raining/snowy, or perfectly clear even with nary a cloud in sight. I bought it for the Galileo thermometer part, so I won't complain about the weather station part of it. It's brought quite a bit of joy and color into my daily tasks, particularly on Hump Day and Moody Mondays. I highly encourage you to get one of these for your office space, desk/remote work, or simply as a home office decorative piece.

Doesn’t work well. Too short.
It’s too short to read the temperature but very pretty. There needs to be more separation. Need to get a taller one
