Merrell Women's Siren Edge Waterproof Low Rise Hiking Shoes

I was diagnosed with flat feet about 8 years ago and since then have had to wear footwear that supports my feet. Merrell trainers have become my go-to footwear preference and these trainers are no exception. They are very light and comfortable and the fit is excellent. There is good support for the foot arch and the look fairly stylist too (I got black). They say they are waterproof but I haven't tried them out yet in a torrential downpour.

I love Merrills shoes. They run a 1/2 size small so I get size 7 , I'm usually a 61/2. I don't wear leather because I'm a vegetarian and Merrillls do a vegan shoe. I wore Merrills when I did a post round and they are the most comfortable shoes I ever wore on the job. You can take them out of the box and wear them on a 20 mile hike, with no breaking in. Highlly recommended .

Nice boots, very light, just a touch narrow for my foot but knew that before I bought them, this gives me a little more support. Wore them straight away with no discomfort. Would buy this make again. Don't know aboutthe water tightness as we are in the middle of a drought!

I bought these trainers in April 2017. At first I thought they were great. Comfortable and waterproof, however, the waterproof seal has now split and if I walk on wet grass, my feet get soaked. I really don't think it worth £70 for a product that fails within 3 months.

Very light and comfortable, but if they ever started off as waterproof, it didn't last long. As others found, they split between the fabric and the sole. I wasn't sure if this was because I'd over-tighted them or because I do walk more to the outside after an ankle injury, but reading other reviews, perhaps it's all in the manufacturing. I went with 2 stars because despite of this I've has a lot of comfortable, if slightly soggy, wear out of them and only stopped wearing them when it was very noticeable.

I bought a 5.5 which I wear in my other Sirens but these came up a little snug. Still comfortable and after a few days of wearing them they seam a better fit. I have worn this style Merrell for the past three years and can't recommend them enough. After suffering from a heel issue for three years I put these on and within week no heel pain

Love these shoes. So comfortable and waterproof. Had a pair before but after 8 months they split. Loved them so much I got another pair. Let's hope these don't go the same way.Here we are now 3 months on and they have come away from the soles, it's not even as if they are a tight fit. They now leak so will be going back under the Merrell years guarantee, I hope!
