Small enough to keep in a car, good in a pinch, I wouldn't take it camping intentionally though...
Most SUVs these days have room in a tray, just below the back of the vehicle and above the spare tire. It's a great place to put flares, a portable compressor, fix a flat, radiator leak stop tablets, duct tape, a few MREs and some water, a saw, a few sturdy knifes, a few fire starting methods, etc.I keep one of these in the vehicle in the warm months (when there isn't snow) because it CAN do a lot in a pinch, but it is just okay at all of it. A dedicated shovel, knife, saw, whistle, there are much better options for all of those things if you have room, time, and money to store all of them as separate tools. If you get stuck on a drive somewhere in the wilderness, this will do a lot of things in a pinch, and it takes up virtually no space. It would easily fit in most glove boxes. At the price, it's better made than I expected.Your exact pouch and the color of your tool may vary. Mine has bright yellow handles and a dark black case.At the end of the day, this could be really useful in a pinch and is a great just in case item to have in your vehicle. I would not count on this if I were intending to go out and live in the woods intentionally for longer than a few days.

Heavy duty, smart storage of pieces.
So far, so good! This is a heavy duty shovel/axe/pick/knife/whistle/saw! Compact and easy to carry. It's a little on the heavy side, but that's the trade for having a solid piece of equipment. Will update if anything gets flimsy.

Very small but OK for the price
This was a lot smaller than expected so be sure to look closely at the size. It’s a fairly good folding shovel for the price but really to small to do much good. I keep this in my four wheeler and also take it with me when I use my motorhome. The case is pretty good quality but thin material. This is a great item for an emergency and that’s why I ordered it. I wouldn’t use this for a garden or general digging holes. For the price, pretty good.

Great Emergency Kit/Camping Tool
Great tool. It’s a perfect piece of equipment for the emergency kit or as part of your camping supplies. It’s relatively lightweight but durable and serves multiple functions. Highly recommended.

sturdy and solid shovel
Very impressive. I just received this one week. It's a very well built, sturdy and solid shovel. I bought it for camping, for the most part. I'm quite happy with it.

Versatile!
Heavy for a pack, but with so many options it's worth it.

Great emergency shovel
Best emergency shovel I've used so far. I've used quite a few of these but this one stands out. Very well built.
