Fits great on a rimmed aquarium for a 20 gallon long. The light is really bright being 10 watts for a low light planted tank. Easy on and off button and priced reasonable for my budget. I like the fact you can move the light around to suit to needs. It is very sturdy no wobbling or leaning off into the water. I highly recommend for a rimmed aquarium.

I always recommend NICREW as a great off brand light. Works for plants well and often has a couple settings. Great for a small planted fish tank

I recently purchased the NICREW Fish Tank Clip on Light for my aquarium, and it has been a mostly positive addition to my setup. This clamp aquarium light offers excellent illumination, but there’s an important consideration regarding its heat output. The light’s brightness is impressive. It illuminates my tank beautifully, enhancing the colors of the fish and the overall aesthetic of the aquarium. The clip-on design is convenient, making it easy to install and adjust. I also appreciate the sleek look of the light; it adds a modern touch to the tank without being obtrusive. However, I did encounter an issue with the amount of heat the light emits. I initially positioned the light near some plants sticking out of the top of my aquarium, and unfortunately, it started burning them. The heat output was more than I anticipated, and it’s something to be cautious about, especially if you have live plants or sensitive decorations near the light. Since discovering this, I’ve adjusted the position of the light to ensure it’s not too close to any plants or areas that can’t tolerate the heat. It’s something to consider when setting up the light - make sure there’s enough clearance for heat dissipation, particularly for any foliage that extends above the water surface. Apart from the heat issue, the light’s performance has been excellent. It’s been reliable and consistent, and I haven’t experienced any problems with flickering or dimming.

Bright light for Childs aquarium

Great product, especially for the money. I have only had it for 2 to 3 weeks now, so i won't comment on longevity. It initially appeared very dim on first impression but it is actually very bright light. So much so I'm having a hard time adjusting to the moonlight setting as I have it on an 8 gallon nano planted tank that sits near to my bed. Everything is still growing well. I have not been using any ferts or co2 on this tank. The build seems very sturdy and the flexible neck is very convenient and strong. Overall i am very pleased with the light and its design, except for the clamp, and would purchase another after evaluating its longevity. The clamp is actually not that bad. It will work very well with rimmed tanks. My personal issue with it is that its on the larger side and the issues i have with connecting it to this specific tank. Tanks with glass tops will have some minor issues attaching the clamp. I think this still overall merits 5 stars as the shortcomings i noted are maily due to personal preferences and nothing to do with build or quality.

This aquarium light is amazing! It’s super bright, arrived quickly, and my plants and fish absolutely love it. It attaches securely to the side of my tank without any issues—no tipping or falling into the water like others I’ve tried. If you’re looking for a reliable and effective light, this is the one to get!

Bonne éclairage.Le blanc est vraiment blanc.Mais les led blanche sont vraiment puissante. La recommandation pour aquarium de 2 a 5 gallons est TOTALEMENT FAUSSE.C'est déja trop puissant pour un aquarium de 40 gallon de 3 pieds de large.Alors j'ai placer un plexi glass opaque blanc pour réduire l'éclairage.Sinon c'était trop puissant pour mes poissons dans une aquarium de 40 gallons et de 3 pieds de largeur.Cette éclairage est bon pour des aquarium de minimum 4 pieds de largeur a 6 pieds de largeur.Sinon c'est vraiment trop puissant pour les poissons. Et vous devrez faire comme moi trouver une facon de tamisé la lumière.Ou de placer l'éclaire en hauteur a un pieds ou 2 pieds de votre aquarium.Alors bon pour aquarium de 4 pieds de largeur MINIMUM selon moi.Mais très bonne éclairage.Satisfait de mon achat .

Works great fit perfect on fish tank Very bright lights up tank

I've run my light for about a week now, as I got a second hand Fluval Spec III tank with a light in poor condition. This is the replacement light for that, and here is my review of the light itself, and if anyone wants to replace their Fluval Spec light with this one, my opinion on that set up will also be below. As for the light, it's a long slim design, and very attractive to the eye. It does get warm to the touch after awhile, but frankly, as long as it's not in a cupboard or a very tight space like that, it won't matter. But since it can get warm, caution is nonetheless advised. As for lighting, the white light is very bright indeed, and will light most nanotanks in a very good manner. Excellent light for growing the majority of aquatic plants. The blue light too is very good and gives the tank an attractive look to it. As mentioned in the title, this light does not come with a remote, but when you're paying for something in this price point, it's very easy to forgive that. My overall review of this product? 4.5 out of 5 - it is excellent value for money, just don't keep it in a tight space or next to anything sensitive to heat. Now if someone want's to use it for a Fluval Spec III tank, you will find that this light is a little bit too long for the tank - obviously the Fluval Spec light is a better fit, and if the aesthetics matter a great deal to you, this will not do. However, if you don't mind so much, you will find that you can position and angle this light in such a manner that you'll never notice it, and be very pleased with your purchase. It's bigger than the light the Spec comes with, but to my personal taste, I like it better. I am very pleased with my purchase.
