My Big Dinosaur Book (My Big Board Books) Board book – Illustrated, May 10, 2011

What a great book for little kids! My grandson is so into dinosaurs and this book is perfect for him. He "reads" it every day even though he is not quite 3 years old. He loves the pictures and so do I as they are very bright and vibrant with about half of the photos have body shots. There is a small description of each dinosaur but there isn't any pronunciation guide which I think would be very helpful. Love the questions on each page so your little one can find what the answer is.This is a perfect book for toddlers and they will get many hours of enjoyment out of it.

Great illustrations and nice size book

This book, beautifully illustrated with large color pictures, would make an ideal gift for any children between the ages of 3-8. Whether they have a current interest in dinosaurs or not, this book is an excellent introduction. However, it is limited to a pictorial presentation only with a number of questions posed in order to hold the reader's attention. Unfortunately, there is no information presented pertaining to those dinosaurs being depicted. A more informative book could be provided later if there is sufficient interest. This is also a very sturdy oversized book and the price is highly reasonable.

It's a big book. With so many different dinosaur names. My son's going to love it for his fourth birthday

Great book, good price. The book arrived damaged, but I didn't realize it until I was wrapping it for Christmas. My son is 3 so he really didn't notice, but the chunk taken out was sharp so I had to tape it. The book has great pictures and is nice and sturdy. I would recommend it for little ones who love dinosaurs, the pictures are great. There are not many pages and the same dinosaurs are mentioned in more than one place, so the repetition is great for 3-4 year olds.

I absolutely love this book! Was bought for my 3 year old nephew who is in love with dinosaurs right now. Have bought him many sets of the rubber toy ones but he often asks which is which. The basic ones I know well but some of the less common i dont. Thought this would be a great gift for both him and the family so we can be teaching him the right names for the right dinos! Great picture quality and is a board book!

Beautiful graphics and fun for a gift

I purchased this book for my 11 month old daughter. I know the title is My BIG Dinosaur book, but I somehow didn't expect it to be so big. My baby loves the bright colors and the size of the book makes it harder for her to catch her fingers when turning the pages. There are so many dinosaurs in this book, including many not-so-popular ones. I also like that the dinosaurs are more realistic looking rather than looking more like cartoons. This would be a great book for young children who love dinosaurs.
