Not the best writer, though good and entertaining. The story, the history, the truth is honest and refreshing. Very informative.

Good book to start with I read this first before Crossdressing with Dignity and My Husband Betty. Was a great intro to set the scene for my thirst for knowing more of this phenomena within me. Chapter set out was very good and one could methodically read through and connect the thread of why we men crossdress and how best to achieve acceptance and understanding within ourselves first before we expect others to try.

Talk about a inside of the wife or significant other. Wow! Here I thought I was seeing to her needs. Yes some but maybe not enough. I understand that I have to be patient and not to push the issue. I am glade that I am doing things differ. I still have a hard time with commutation just as my wife. I understand where she is coming from. I would say this is a must read for both and even family too. I didn't do any of this with my first wife but knew I had to do thing differ and did.

older mature crossdresser wish i had this book when first started crossdressing in my 20's i'm now 60 years old and separated from my wife because she doesn't want anything to do with jenny this book is fairly good for the beginning cd especially if he is married and hasn't come out. i recordment this and other works by Dr Peggy Rudd. has alot of good points between herself and her husband. i would recordment buying it. i hope it will open some avenues to the closet cd.

I bought this to see what some of the perspectiveness were on the genetic woman side in a marriage. I felt this was short and choppy without much expansion of her thoughts but being one of the first books in print it did start me researching into other perspectives

She advises a wife in this book that she has the power to make this man happy. That is so wrong on so many levels. She also implies she is superior because she rose above all and stayed with her hubby. So condescending and hurtful. Did not appreciate the sentiment.

Great book could be updated many of the links listed in the book are no longer valid. Should be helpful with the unaccepting wife or girlfriend.

I read this first before I passed it on to my wife. It was good, although many of the issues, in the book, we had already delt with...it gave us a barometer that we were on the right track & dealing with things properly. It is very well written & would recommend it to be in the library of every crossdresser. Some day you'll need it. Besides it's good reading for any male that is entertaining the thought of stepping into a lace/silk pantie. John/Holly

A really lovely book written beautifully. I would recommend it, not just to those who have a friend or a spouse who is a crossdresser, but to anyone, as it clears up all misunderstanding, and removes ignorance. It talks about, and compares, male & female behaviour, discussing along the way how we are brought up, and it explores our beliefs in what is expected of us and examines conventions. An absolutely five-star read.

Simply brilliant! I have been a CD for as long as I can recall and admit that this book taught me more about myself than anything else I have researched over the past 20 years. It is a must read for anyone with a connection to the subject matter and I would actually say it is a must read for everybody regardless. I have every confidence that if more people read this book we would see a safer and more tolerant society. Peggy uses plain language, her own experiences and those from others to portray a plain English text on the world and lives of CD.

This book is a must for couples or individuals that have cross dressing concerns or questions. This book is very well written and easy to follow and understand
