I bought this to make some Christmas gifts and this wax is pretty solid. The pellets it comes in melt down very quickly and I prefer over the shaved pieces. The wax holds and throws fragrance well as well as mixes nicely with wax melt dyes. This is not for pillar candle making at all. I did a few experiments with this with molds and found the wax broke off easily and any details chipped away when lightly touched. Unless you cut this with pillar soy, beeswax, or anything firmer this is exclusively best for jar candle making.

Purchased this wax to make candle over the holidays. Very pleased with how quickly it melts. Candles settled really well, with no big sink holes or air pockets. I would say the burn quality was excellent for a homemade DIY candle. My biggest pet peeve is when the wax burns all weird, and feels wasted. For the most part, my candles burned perfectly even. Will purchase again, highly recommend. Very easy to work with.
