I would give this screen more than 5 stars if I could. The quality is top notch and it's the easiest Velcro screen I've ever had in terms of attachment, removal and use. The side part is what really makes it better than the others. The magnets in the side are the perfect strength to shut it automatically without it being too strong to push through if your hands are full. Another great feature is that the entire frame is fabric meant to stick to Velcro so you can use as much or as little Velcro on your door frame spaced however you want. The width and length are also just right to keep bugs out and it's a heavy enough material that something like a lizard isn't going to be able to get under the bottom edge. I also like the separation in the magnets that's just right for easily folding it. I can't keep a temporary screen up on my south facing front door because the sun is absolutely brutal in the summer afternoons and has destroyed previous lower quality, harder to install/remove screens. I can put this one up and remove it in literal seconds. Definitely worth the price!

Nice quality screen, works flawlessly with effortless assembly. Absolutely love it. Literally took 5 minutes to attach loop strip, hang on frame tack down at stress points. Left side opens/closes quickly and gives less opportunity for mosquitoes tagging indoors. This is a great product. Thank you so much!!

So after purchasing and returning a competing product, I was dubious of the value of this unit. Unfortunately, the solid-frame screen door that came with our sliding glass door is so difficult to slide that we were desperate for an alternative, so we tried again with this product. Manufacturing/materials: The screen material itself is sturdy and tough. With 2 adults, 2 dogs, and 2 kids it gets a workout, but after 4 months so far it looks the same as when we bought it. Adhesives/installation: The package comes with a good length of quality hook & loop material, enough to install with a little (6"?) left over for mishaps. Its handy to have 2 folks to help with the install, but its not required. Magnetic seal: This unit has a series of magnets sewn into the edges of the screen flaps, and I can only recall one time that Ive had to manually adjust them. Every other time they automatically realign themselves for a nice vertical seal. Magnetism+gravity=great! I'd like it even more if the flaps had a magnetic strip at the bottom of the screen as well, but I can imagine other issues may come from that (such as the flap attaching to itself in mid-swing) so perhaps thats why it wasn't added. Design: This is where it shines the greatest. Most competing products have a central seam, which works great if you have french doors that similarly open in the middle. For those of us installing on sliding doors, a middle opening is annoying because it forces you to open the door as far as it can go, then shimmy to the door side to slip through the opening. This product has an offset opening, so opening the slider a bit is enough to expose the magnetic opening. Far smarter design for a slider. Summary: I used to hate my slider because of the garbage OEM screen door. Now we use the slider far more often, get more breeze, and enjoy the back yard more. Seriously, its been excellent and I fully endorse it. The closest I have to a point of concern is with the bottom edge of the screen, which by design can swing free. If you install the screen low enough for that bottom to brush the step then you avoid any kind of gap. Alternatively if you install it inset into the door frame then you won't have a gap as the bottom edge will sit against the frame itself. For us, it hangs free a little but we've never had any trouble from that (despite being in serious skeeter country). Disclaimer: None. I had new back doors with full glass panels installed. I wanted new screen doors but the space required (and cost) were not good for me. I tried a version of this type of screen in the past. It was ok but didn't hold up very long. It also opened in the center which I didn't love. These screens open on the side. They don't show a line down my window panes and they help reduce glare from outside. The screen does keep bugs out but the one I purchased doesn't reach the ground. It stops right above the threshold. It's too hot for open doors now but I'll just get a draft stopper for cooler season. It was easy to put up. I don't know how long it will last being held in place with sticky tape but it is sealed well for now. The side opening is fine for me since I am short but I think it might be inconvenient for tall people. I was thinking that it needed a loop or handle for opening. But that's minor, I literally can just walk through it without pulling the screen open. The magnets have snapped shut every time. That's impressed me since that was a problem with the previous type I had. So, yeah, I'm happy so far. This may not be a permanent solution to a screen door, but if I replace it 10 times, it will still be less money and use less space to open than a screen door.

This has worked well for months very pleased and would buy again if I need on another door. Easy install magnets are effective tehy line up smoothly and overall feels sturdy

I set this up just inside my screen door on my back porch. So, during the day, the animals (and humans) can walk in and out with screen door propped open and not have the high population of insects inside the screened part of the porch. Makes using the BBQ during the summer much easier and life more enjoyable! Due to wanting it on the inside, I ended up using a staple gun and attaching it to the wood on inside of door frame instead of the metal frame of screen door. So, I was not able to use the adhesive. Also, the tacks supplied have plastic heads that break easily. But it WAS true to size, and was a bargain for what value it brings to our lifestyle! Not to mention, there are no tears in this after six months of cats climbing up it! Overall, this was a ‘win-win’!

So easy to use and kept out the bugs! Loved the design where it opens on the side instead of down the middle.

The material is thicker, the magnets are stronger/longer, the installation is easy and it ships fast. I had a few until now, but this one is the best. Make sure to get the right size! Also the grey, I was worried about, but it actually allows more light through, therefore it looks better!
