I know I sure didn't! :) I had same problem of blaming the clasp because I was putting it on the wrong way. I dropped it many times but luckily discovered it fell, quickly. And I actually lost it once when it fell, and found by a lucky passenger. Eventually, once when I was out with my friend the bracelet fell and she helped me put it back on -- but she put it on completely differently then I do - it actually looked better and it was permanently fixed on my wrist. This is actually one bracelet that I am not losing (I would lose bracelets every 6 months or so). I like this one a lot. In short - the band is very nice design and I love wearing it. I have it for about a year now. BUT - check out the Amazon page to see how it should be put on. I am a smart guy and I thought it would be intuitive. This was not. Take time to read the instructions with pictures and you will not lose it. My only problem now is - I can't put it on the 'right' way, by myself. :) Perhaps with practice!

I've made a couple survival bracelets in the past (paracord), but I've always wanted something stylish and original to wear that wasn't so large and thick. Came across this bracelet, got it in 2 days, and already have many people asking me about where I got it. I'm more simplistic in the way I dress, and not really into jewelry that says 'Look at me!' In this case it was great to get something more subtle that doesn't scream plain jane, but is still noticeable. Finally to all who are concerned with reviews regarding the complicated clasp and that the bracelet won't stay on, here's the skinny. First and foremost your wrist needs to for the most part fit the bracelet, and unfortunately there is no size option that I could find when ordering. My wrist is around 8" around, fits perfectly. The second is the clasp, that works perfectly if the bracelet is close to or snug enough. There are only 2 ways the clasp can be worked properly, one correct and one not. So no offense to the negative comments about the clasp in particular, but it isn't rocket science getting it to work. The pictures provided by the seller show what it should look like when done properly.

This is one of those "I'm giving it one star because I can't give it zero stars" review. This thing looks nice but has a complete horse bleep clasp. Opened the package and put it on and within approximately two minutes found it laying on my kitchen counter. Picked it up, put it back on and about five minutes later when I looked to admire it, it was gone again. No idea where this time though. Fortunately, it unclasps itself so quickly it can't be far. I guess if I find it, it's going back immediately. A complete piece of garbage due to the non working clasp. Too bad cause I think I kinda liked it for the maybe three minutes I got to wear it. Here is a picture of where it was for fa couple of minutes. Run as fast as you can away from this purchase.

11/15/2016 - I am completely impressed with this bracelet - I bought it for a Viking costume (Halloween) but have been wearing it ever since. For 8.95 I expected a costume quality low end (throwaway) something that would be good for a few uses. It may wear out someday but it seems very well made and it looks great. You get just what the photo shows. I will say my wrist is 7 1/2 " around.. this fits quite snugly to get it clipped but then is just right to stay put. Bigger wrists than 7 1/2 would have an issue getting it on, and of course smaller wrists it may slide a bit up and down... but its perfect for me. Do pay attention to the little paper that comes with it.. it seems self explanatory how to put it on but its actually a tiny bit tricky until you do it once or twice. 5/26/2017 Update: - Still working GREAT - yes some of the "brass" has worn down, but its a great patina - I cannot say other people are doing it "wrong".. but to refute the negative reviews, This clasp is NOT bad, however it does NOT go on the way you THINK it should go on, read the paper when done properly it should be completely flat. I like it so well I'm buying another now as a "backup" for when this one ever wears out or breaks. 6/12 - Update - I may stand corrected.. original still great - new one ... disappeared off my wrist first day and is gone :-( so the other reviews about the closure not being "secure" may be correct depending on the one you get.. they looked the same but alas my new one is gone... but I'm still happy with my old one - subtracted one star due to loss..

Wife got me this as a gift and it is a beautiful piece with that nice new-leather smell. It was a little tricky to get on at first as I've not had a bracelet before with this type of clasp. But once on, it stayed on. I saw the other comments regarding the clasp coming undone but I've been spending the day helping out in the kitchen, taking care of kids and am wearing it as I type this. I have experienced no issues with the clasp. This item seems to me to be designed more for casual activities. I would consider this as a piece of jewelry that shouldn't get wet or be worn while participating in sports/outdoors. But otherwise, this looks great and is very comfortable to wear. Edit: Dropped review to 3 stars. Two days after I started wearing this, one of the metal clasps slipped off the end of the bracelet. Apparently the glue holding the clasps onto the leather straps does not stick to the metal very well. It was an easy fix with all-purpose adhesive.

I selected this product for the clasp. I have worn this product for 7 years until the string and leather bands wore out. I'm happy that I can still find them at a reasonable price on the market.

Wore this bracelet to a concert alongside a few others, but it quickly became clear that it had a mind of its own—just like the One Ring from The Lord of the Rings. Throughout the night, it repeatedly slipped off, as if rejecting me as its owner. By the end of the evening, after yet another escape attempt, I decided to let fate take over and gifted it to a stranger at a bar. Perhaps it had finally found its true master. If you're feeling like destiny might choose you, this bracelet could be yours—just don't expect it to stick around for long!

i see a lot of reviews abt the clasp and i just figured out that i myself have been putting it on wrong and it’s fallen off a lot of times. But (as you can see in the vid) that’s how you actually clasp it and i could tell because it just seemed like the clasp peices fit better than before. I will say that because i have a small wrist i can clasp it before hand and then squeeze it over my hand, but people w/ bigger wrists might have an issue trying to clap it w/ one hand. Other than that, the general quality of the braclet is nice and hasn’t gone through any damage the past week or so (and i don’t really take the braclet off other than when taking a shower so it has endured well). Also don’t mind the other braclet on my wrist it has nothing to do w this purchase so don’t be mislead lol.
