Okay... it's a range case/closet/transport case
Latest Update: Got my Replacement case from Amazon, They took the old case back even paying for the shipoing and sent out a replacement out witgh them covering the shipping. Well done AMAZON PRIME! THANX. The new one had a beat up box but the case was undamaged. I'll update after I have used it a bit the let everyone know how it has held up.Update: I went to use today and noticed the unit had a very large crack in the middle of box by a hinge connector. Packaging box from Amazon had no damage to it. All I can think is it was a manufacturer defect. As usual, Amazon Prime is GREAT with a free return label and a new replacement on its way. I still will keep at 5 stars unless I find a problem with the next box. I will update after I receive replacement case.Original review:Let me start off by stating this rifle case is better than the card-board box my Ruger 10-22 came in. Inexpensive protection is all I wanted for bumping around in my trunk between my house and the range/woods.That said...I would not use this to commerically ship/transport ANY GUN in via a train or plane. Now to keep this in your closet to protect your gun it is fine. This is not a gun safe by any means. Will it keep a child out... yes with a pad lock though "I still" would highly recommend your gun be trigger-locked too in this case when it is going to be out of your sight. (locked in your car or closet) As others said... this is not a water tight or heavy dust case for transporting on say an ATV on a hunting trip on a rainy day or in the desert; to your local favorite wooded shooting spot it would be perfect. Now with the facts out there... I would certainly buy this again. I am very happy with this purchase.

Great for Airsoft.
While this case is on the extreme bare-bones end for actual firearms, it has a much more reasonable use as a case to transport Airsoft rifles.Either with or without a scope, you will be extremely hard-pressed to find an airsoft rifle that will not fit in this case, the only exceptions that come readily to mind are replicas of specialty weapons, such as LMGs, MMGs, and multi-round 40mm grenade launchers. For carrying multiple rifles, removing the scopes is generally a must, but for low-height sighting options (red dots and such) you may find that they do fit together with a bit of creative juggling.Loading the case to maximum capacity (every bit of internal space occupied by rifle, scope, magazine, or other associated items, can be done and the case still holds up. Closing it at that point can be a bit difficult, but once latched the case still holds. The only problem I've found with the case is that the exterior plastic is not the most durable (expected that though). Any high enough velocity impact with a sharp enough object is bound to gouge the exterior, so no dragging this case behind a 4x4 or throwing it off a building. But for what it's supposed to do (my use case, allow me to transport an Airsoft rifle or two, plus some extra gear in a discreet manner without costing a significant portion of my gear budget) this case is just about perfect.

3 locks needed to go through security
This gun case worked as advertised. I was able to fit 2, 12 ga. shotguns in it and get it through TSA security. The case itself is somewhat flimsily so you will need 3 locks to secure it.

Perfect
I bought this for the marksman in the family so he could travel to his competition destination with his supplies to compete. He was extremely happy with it. I highly recommend it. He liked it so much, he plans on getting another one. It is very sturdy, the padding inside is nice and thick and it closes securely. It is not overly bulky, but has a nice sleek design. It is lightweight and has a nice size carrying handle. He has had several brands but prefers this one over the others. This fits nicely in the backseat of a vehicle or a trunk of a car.

Nice solid case.
Great gun case. Holds the rifle firmly in place with the foam padding.

Awesome Case
I only needed a case to transport a new rifle in my car to/from the range/hunting spots. Didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a travel case that is suitable for airline transport. After reading many reviews, I was dubious about some of the other cases at this price point. I ended up going to some local stores to get hands-on some of the cheaper cases and they did indeed seem a little too flimsy. I couldn't find one of these locally but rolled the dice and am glad I did. This is not a travel case so if you're looking for something you can take on an airplane or travel overseas with do not buy this case, you'll need to spend a few to several hundred dollars. If you're looking for a good quality case that is not flimsy, has good quality latches, and plenty of room to transport your gun to the range or to a hunting location then this is an excellent choice.I bought this to fit a T/C Compass .300WM with a bipod, Vortex scope, and a muzzle brake that is just shy of 47" OAL. Fits just fine and there is enough extra room to throw in some ammo boxes or other stuff but I won't need to as I carry all that stuff in a separate bag.If you're looking for a good quality case for local transport and you're not concerned with all the tacticool guys at the range with more money than shooting skill, this is a perfect option.

Great value.
Stumbled upon this while shopping many dozens of rifle cases on Amazon. I only need this to transport from my home to the range, so I don't need this to be of premium quality. For the price I got exactly what I expected, a thin plastic gun case, that performs a light duty task. That being said, I would never use this for checking into an airline flight, or shipment to an FFL without a stronger outer shell. There are holes on the far left and right end of the clasps for a lock, but with a bit of force, they could be defeated. Nor would I trust it to take a drop down a flight of stairs. All that being said, for my light duty needs, $31 delivered to my door was a steal, compare to $169 for a more durable case at Harbour 'da Freights. That savings can go right to ammo. After 4 trips to the range, it works perfect. Today will be trip #5. It's doing it's job.
