Stagg SUVM-A100BK Foldable "A" Stand for Ukuleles, Mandolins and Violins

This ukulele stand is as advertised. Light weight, compact, portable, sturdy and will work with a variety of sized ukuleles as well as other stringed instruments. I like the fact that the support arms fold up to the leg sections making it easy to carry in one hand while carrying a ukulele or mandolin in the other hand. It supports the soprano, concert and tenor ukuleles safely. No rocking side to side or back and forth. Tried the bump test and ukuleles were secure. I did not have to remove a strap on one of them before placing in the stand. Also supports a cigar box guitar and the A and F style mandolins. The stand is well made and sturdy. It was delivered in a speedy manner too. I highly recommend this stand for not only Ukuleles but also mandolins and other smaller stringed instruments. However, it does not work for dulcimers due to the nature of the body styles (long and lean).

I Would definitely buy the Stagg again, Wish I had bought 2 of these. Compact and solid, great for gigging. The "wood" version is a nice display stand for home use, but this metal one is solid and rugged for portability. You can leave your shoulder rest on and it leans at a perfect angle against the back. I like this one because it stands more upright, not requiring as much space from the wall like the other one as the violin lays back further in the cradle. Found I could rest the bow frog on the arm and let it lean against the fidd-o-lin for easy access. The metal one may not be as "pretty" but the violin almost hides it anyway.

I love this stand. I have four: for a mandolin, two ukuleles and a Ubass (two of these are offset and they still sit on it great!) It’s sturdy, low profile, good padding and looks nice and professional. The top offers a great backing for the instrument to lean on. Haven’t tried it on any full size instruments but the small scale models I have fit perfectly.

Nothing not to like very well made very sturdy was bought to hold two of my sons Autoharps. Doing a great job sitting on top of the piano holds the outer Hearts steadily in their place

This is a quality, well designed, well made product that works well and folds nice and compact. A lighter weight (alloy) might be more convenient for travel, but this all steel, heavier weight stand is more resistant to tip-over. *A lighter weight stand might(?) be OK for instrument display, but DON'T use a very light weight stand for a 'working stand' (they tip over too easily)! I would repurchase this product for a quality, compact, well made 'working stand'.

Not as st1blemas a large stand but small, easy to haul around and as long as you don’t put an instrument on where it will get bumped or bashed it works really well for larger thinge like a bass, or something small like violin

C'est exactement ce qu'il fallait pour rendre l'instrument accessible et en l'empêchant de bouger. La guitare est bien en place avec les mousses antidérapantes. Je recommande. This is a great little desktop-sized stand, perfect for keeping my uke within reach. It's a little pricier than some other options, but it's sturdy, well constructed and worth paying a little extra for. As an added bonus, it also makes a great portable stand for my Enya Nova Go travel guitar.
