It worked. If it lasts, it's a good deal.

Worth a try and saved money
I replaced this in my dryer when the heat would not turn on. It wasn’t that hard to do after watching a few you tube videos.

Buy it - It works
It worked. The heating unit in my dryer stopped heating. I bought this item and installed it and BOOM! Heat! Hopefully, it will last a while. Has saved me over $400. Fingers crossed it doesn't die.

Not OEM!
Not an OEM product. Pictures listed for product did not match what I received. Fuse lasted 1 cycle before it burned out. Don’t waste your valuable time installing this.

Fixed my drier
Somehow the one in my drier blew and this tested out to be the culprit. It’s the exact replacement but I dropped a star because it didn’t line up and I had to reuse my old bracket

Saved a ton of $$ with this part & the thermostat
My husband and I replaced this part, as well as the thermostat(purchased on Amazon as well) on our LG Tromm Dryer. It had stopped heating and I did a bit of surfing Youtube to see if I could troubleshoot the problem in order to save calling a repairman. One of the other reviews on Amazon had explained that if you replace the thermal fuse without also replacing the thermostat that it may work for a while, but often the dryer will stop heating again after a month or less. So we decided to just order both parts as they were reasonably priced. I was a bit nervous that these parts wouldn't be the solution as it could have also been that our entire heating element assembly was kaput. That part is over $100. So we started small and ordered the fuse and thermostat. I had watched a couple of videos specific to our dryer model about how to replace the parts; one of which showed removing absolutely every single thing on the inside of the dryer in order to replace these two small parts. No kidding...the entire drum, belt, etc. It looked ridiculously labor intensive. This video was professionally done by an actual repairman. The other video that appealed to my laziness and lack of skill was made by a regular Joe- with I believe a cell phone in a fairly cramped space. It was short and to the point and was the method we chose, big surprise. The only disassembly required was to remove the vent hose as well as a screw holding the aluminum tube entering the back of the dryer. We had a more difficult time with our replacement only because our washer and dryer are stackable and enclosed in a small closet type area. Once we got it out we moved it into our living room on a blanket. We also ended up popping off the circular side access panel and laid the dryer on the side so gravity wasn't quite working against us. Then we were able to use both entry points to remove and replace the parts. Flashlight, phillips head screwdriver, and patience required. We saved a ton of money and had the satisfaction of doing it ourselves....with assistance from Amazon and Youtube. I will also be leaving this same review for the thermostat part we purchased. We really will have no way of knowing if replacing both was absolutely necessary, but honestly for what we paid for both parts, who cares. Under $25 and the dryer is heating like a champ. FYI our washer and dryer is 13 years old this year.
