Just got this dress, and I must say, I AM IMPRESSED! After reading some of the reviews, I was a bit skeptic, but I am so glad I took a chance! The color and look of my dress is WHAT YOU SEE PICTURED! I am 5'4, 225lbs and purchased in a 2XL. Now, generally I would go up a size, but as I mentioned, per the reviews, I went with my size. I am NOT top heavy, which SOMETIMES is a blessing when you are wearing certain clothing, and this is the case with this dress. It ties up in the back, and the cut of the sleeves make my shoulders look soo SEXY! The gathering in front is awesome..it actually accented my non existent waistline, and HID the one that does..LOL.. (KEEPING IT REAL!). Now if you are TOP heavy, I would suggest MAYBE considering a size up..but hey, to each his own The event I am attending is a classy affair and I refuse to go anywhere all 'hootchiefied'!! This dress was made to TEASE, and CLING a tad bit! I will be SPANXED up of course in order to have a SMOOTH look. Now, the length for me is a tad long..I will NOT be hemming because with heels, it WILL work for me. If you need to wear FLATS, you may have to raise the dress a little to keep it from being ruined on the bottom while walking. The material is good quality!! I used AMAZON PRIME just in case I needed a quick return to get another size..NO NEED..IT'S A KEEPER! Blessings y'all!

I’m really happy with this less then $40 purchase. I’m 5’4” 245 pounds. Bra size 40DDD. I needed a navy dress to match my husband’s tux. He’s in his brother wedding and though I’m not in the wedding I want to match him. I bought this dress thinking that if it doesn’t work I’ll have plenty of time to return it and find something else. However I love it. It arrived in 2 days with prime. I ordered the xxxl the largest size and it’s actually kind of big especially in the chest area but not too bad that it will bother me. You may want to size down if you have smaller breast. The material is really light and stretchy so plenty of room in the waist area. I’m wearing a body shaped in the photo but it’s not a tight one just to smooth things out. The fabric will be light enough since the wedding is in August. I’m also not wearing shoes and it comes right to the floor so I won’t be tripping over it all night even if I put flats on later in the night. Overall great find for only $40 bucks.

I am a size 16 - 18, and the XXL fits but would probably fit better on a 14 - 16. The fabric is on the thin side, but I don't think it looks cheap. I do think you'd need decent foundation garments to avoid visible seams. It's a really pretty dress with a nice bit of style, and the knot on the front makes the stomach area pretty forgiving. The teal color is a deep teal and is more blue than green. I'm planning to wear this to a wedding (as a guest) and I think it will pack well and look nice. Also, I'm a teeny bit over 5'4" and I won't have to hem this at all. It's just above floor length, which is perfect for me, but may not work for a taller woman.

Awesome dress, it gathers where it needs to and swings free where it should. Very flattering. The stretchy knit fabric and "tube" in the name made it seem not suitable for formal..but after trying on a DOZEN other actual formal gowns (for $250 and up) im going w this one! Add some jewelry and heels and its plenty formal, and waaay more stylish than so many dowdy looking mom of the bride type dresses for the early 50s ladies ;-)Size12 usually, 175 lbs, 5'6" (w DDD bust and a fair amount of middle ;-) and the L was PERFECT. XL was too big around the neck and even across the chest.The only thing this dress doesnt have that actual formals have...is lining. Get you some smoothing undergarments, for sure.Very happy w this, i bought 2 colors. Dusty pink looks just like the pics, Blue teal is brighter in person, but i still like it.

Loved the color - a very nice shade of Royal Blue. The material is a little thin but because of the dark color I didn't think you could see through it. I ordered a small based on my measurements (35-28-35) but it was just too big. It was a very pretty dress that if sized properly would show off your shape. One thing I did not like about the dress (and why I did not reorder an extra small) was that it had a seam right down the front of the dress (from where it is bunched by the belly button to the ground.) And it was not a smooth seam. I did not notice this in any of the pictures and no other review mentioned it so maybe I got a "faulty" one. I tried to get the seam to lay inside the fold of the material in the front but it would not stay. It was also extremely long on me but I am only 5'1".

I had to attend an out of state formal wedding and didn't want to spend more than 50.00 for a dress. I should have sized down to an XL but I made it work. The neckline where it "wraps" has an unfinished edge, that reminds me of a halloween costume. But, the dress flowed nicely and I loved the fact it packs easy. I was in 100 degree weather for an outdoor ceremony and the dress did not trap heat. It looked a bit boring on its own, but I paired it with a lacey fringed evening shawl and it pulled an otherwise cheap outfit together making it look sophisticated!

I bought an XL I wanted a L due to the fact I wanted it to fit a little tighter in the waist but the XL is fine. It's very long on me, I'm 5'2". It's comfortable amd flattering and hides my problem area...(tummy). This purchase is for a wedding, I'm a bridesmaid.

I love how it fitted and flattered the body. It's a big snug for my body so will be returning for a larger size or a different style that's better suited for a winter formal this February in Nyc.Wish there was a design that had long sleeves with this flattering silhouette.I have a post pregnancy belly so ordering a size up would probably be better.Would have liked a slightly heavier drape so that body bulges would be less noticeable or maybe that's what a looser fit might already achieve.Color more vibrant online than in person.
