LOOOOVE this little mold!
If you are making Minnie Mouse cupcakes, I would totally recommend getting a bow mold! This one made the perfect size bow and was the only one I found that I actually liked. I made homemade fondant and colored it pink to use with mine. There was definitely a trick to it since it is hard plastic. I wish it was silicone so the fondant would release easier but hey, that is life.I brushed the inside of mold with a little cornstarch and tapped out the rest. I made a sample bow and weighed it so I would know how much fondant I would need for each bow without having excess. I portioned out my pieces of fondant and got to work on the bows. (I forgot to add, I added a tiny bit of tylose to my fondant so that it would dry quicker after they came out of the mold - just be sure to keep what you aren't working with covered in plastic wrap.)I weighed out 7 grams of fondant, pressed it flat, dusted it with a fine layer of cornstarch and pressed it into the mold. Where it overhangs, I folded back in towards the center on the back. This will ensure that you don't have any folds on the front of the bow when you pop it out. I used a knife to pry it out and once I got used to it, I was on a roll. I made 24 bows in an hour or two. Not everyone came out perfectly so it took me a little longer. I will attach photos of the process or you can go to my blog (link is in my profile) to see my full tutorial. I'll even show you how I made the ears and what I used to get jet black fondant. I love this mold and definitely recommend it if you are making Minnie Mouse cupcakes! It's a sturdy little mold that will last forever!

Made super cute bows
Made super cute bows. Was the only found that resembled the bows of a certain cartoon mouse. Giving it 4 stars vs 5 as "flexible" isn't a word I would use to describe this. It's pretty hard plastic. Tried fondant but couldn't get them to pop out without sticking(could have been my fondant) ended up using candy melts. Just be prepared to reheat your chocolate as you have to do these one at a time. Recommend to buy multiple if going that route

Larger than I would have wanted for Minnie cupcakes
The mold is very cute but ended up being larger than I expected to make Minnie cupcakes. I used Wilton candy melts for ears, mini Oreos were way too small. Made the bows with 3 candy melts at 50% in microwave for 1 minute, followed by 30 sec intervals. I made 24 of them this way and the plastic mold did not warp.

The molds were very easy to work with and the perfect size for cupcakes
I ordered two of these as I had to make 48 Minnie Mouse bows for my granddaughter's 2nd Birthday. It worked perfectly and truth is, I wish I had ordered a few more. I added white polka dots and let the candy harden before adding the pink candy on top. They were so cute and I received many compliments. The molds were very easy to work with and the perfect size for cupcakes. Wish I had a picture to submit!

Great for a Minnie Mouse now
Great for a Minnie Mouse now. I used to make bows for rice krispy treats. Minus two stars because it was a pain to get the fondant out of mold. Very hard plastic.

Sturdy mold produced perfect bows
Very sturdy, produced perfect bows using melted chocolate. Not really bendable, so I suppose with other media, it might be a little too stiff. But it worked great for me and will last many years!

Very nice strong plastic mold
Very nice strong plastic mold. The detail of the finished product was perfect. A little tip: if you put the mold with the fondant or chocolate in it in the freezer for 10 minutes or so you wonโt lose the shape of the bow ๐๐ป
